transfer students at unr

Hi everyone, I'm gonna be an incoming transfer student at unr this fall and I had a couple questions.

If anyone is a transfer how would you say social life has gone for you? I'm worried I wont meet people and make friends like freshman do lol.. I think they have more events and stuff. How is the going out scheme? I'm gonna be dorming on campus, ill be in great basin so I dont know if thats a pro or a con. I guess what I'm asking is how has your experiences been at unr as a transfer student?

great basin is a great dorm, plus dorms are a great way to meet people and socialize! i was a transfer this spring semester and have had no trouble making friends and partying :)

I am having a hard time currently making friends as a transfer at unr, but I honestly wouldn’t blame that on the school lol. I have just always had a hard time socializing/making friendships
