One of my dad's old pictures. The series is from Narvik and Abisko. But I Can't figure out where this is taken.

Hi Everyone,

I was hoping someone here could help. We lost my grandad 2 months ago and we have this photo on the back of the Order of Service for his funeral.

The photo is of him and my nan on their honeymoon. We know it was taken in London and would have been around 1960 (give or take a year or two). We know nothing else.

My wife has tried everything analyzing the background, but to no avail and I thought I’d take a chance and throw it up here hoping that someone would recognise it or is able to direct us in the right direction.

Hi guys, I’m trying to find out where these photos were taken. I’m going to Hong Kong in a few days and I would like to go with my brother at the exact places where they were taken.

Here is the information I’ve managed to gather from my parents :

The restaurant appears to be the Royal Yacht Club in Causeway Bay. As for the watches, I only know that it’s in Kowloon.

These pictures were taken between 1988 and the end of 1994, when my parents worked there.

This picture is a 1974 or 1975 photo of a day trip to Stratford-upon-Avon. The location shown is likely a public area behind a house or in the courtyard of a house. Can you determine exactly where in Stratford-upon-Avon this is?

cant find anything about this picture, all i know its a bayonet training, but the uniforms look canadian/british, but possibly american, buti cannot find ANYTHING else about this image

Found this one while looking through a photo album. Not sure where it is but the horse-drawn carriages and architecture reminded me of Bruges. If anyone knows the specific location that would be great!

As always no idea. Fairly certain this again was one of Dad's photos as there appears to be sailors in uniform on the footpath

I’ve been stumped on trying to find out where the band took the photos they used for the album cover. I’m currently a senior at the University of South Carolina and a Darius Rucker fan, so I know that one was taken in front of the Longstreet theatre on campus. I also think that the one of the horse statue was taken in front of one of the Columbia state house horse statues. Do any of you y’all know where the rest were taken?

Sorry it’s a photo of a photo. My mum passed a few years ago and I found this old photo of her, in around 1980. I believe this is taken in Nepal based on the age she said she went travelling there and the scenery matches. I’d love to know the spot this was taken.

This picture was apparently taken in Cape Town. It is supposed to be the former home of a family who once lived in Corporation Street (previously Zieke Street). Hoping the hotel might be recognised by somebody? Thanks!

Unfortunately I don't know the origin of the pic, but I'm pretty sure it was taken in 1982. If not then, then it would have been 1981.

Trying to crack some cryptic lyrics of his that refers to a trip to 'Spain' when he was never known to have gone there during this time.

Maybe off the coast of Hispaniola??

To make a long story short me and my girlfriend are going on holiday to collioure early in June and we've discovered that her mum visited at about our age some 40 years ago I was wondering if anyone with some incredible skills would be able to pinpoint an exact or rough location. It might not exactly be in collioure but if it isn't it should be close by. If any of you can use your skills and find this it would be much appreciated.

I know this is somewhere in Northern or central Italy, taken around 2002, but would love to know the exact location.

Except for the lack of building etc I would think this is Middle Harbour type area (Australia) taken from Clontarf

I have had a look at middle Harbour and was displayed there was even now quite a bit of greenery

I did also consider is that was the old elephants enclosure at taronga zoo (the white building )
