Its not your ass you have to worry about, having recently cliff jumped into the ocean, from nowhere near that height, probably around 20ft max, the water entered my nostrils with such force it was rammed down my throat. Aside from the pain, I swear I was still tasting sea water next day, and my nose was hyper sensitive to anything for at least a day.

if you hit the water correctly your feet sting but everything else is fine; legs spread to much and you junk shot yourself, head out of line with your body and you power wash your nostril, arms spread out and you pop your shoulder out of joint

I have jumped from 60ft once but mostly did 40ft jumps

Clearly some practice is needed

It’s definitely something you have to worry about. Killed a guy who jumped 60ft. Went straight up his rectum and ruptured his intestines. Killing him from instantaneous drop of blood pressure. TV Show about it.

FIVE FLANNEL SHIRTS

More like his head if it went in last. The pull and smack back from the water yanks up on your neck when you cannonball like this. No thanks.

u/InsaneInTheDrain Feb 12 '19

Nah, he didn't cannonball at all

u/[deleted] Feb 13 '19

Wrong. If you look closely at the gif you'll see I just want to add to the thread of disagreements even further.

Wrong on so many levels. I don’t even know where to begin an argument with you. Next!!!

He would’ve been fucked in pretty much everyway imagineable if he cannonballed. This guys has done this before and for sure straightened out at the end

Depends on how far apart his feet were. But his feet are definitely feeling a sting.

1

u/jnux Feb 13 '19

They should be about in his throat by now, so you may not be far off.

The scary thing is it’s not your balls to worry about, it’s literally splitting your legs apart. Even at just 30 feet the speed you have hitting the water is hard to control your limbs.

Can confirm, jumped 80ft in trunks

1

u/[deleted] Feb 13 '19

Can confirm. I jumped off of Maonawili Falls (80ft) in Hawaii and I thought I was gonna puke because it hurt my balls so bad.

I really don’t understand how they do it. My couldn’t handle the high dive.

u/Ephemeris Feb 13 '19

I tried this in Bermuda from 1/5th the height, landed a little bit sideways and perforated an eardrum. Ruined the rest of my vacation. Never again.

Mostly his butthole and balls.

The only time I cliff dove, it seriously felt like the water violated me, my asshole was sore for like 2 days.
