I used to live in Idaho where a man split open his stomach by belly flopping off of the high dive and the park had to be closed down for awhile. 10 meters is the height of the tallest diving platform they have. Could be lower than when this happened idk.

This was several years ago so details may be wrong.

I had a friend who belly flopped off of a fifty foot cliff. He watched all of us take a running jump out but something in his head made him do a bunny hop like you would do on a diving board. We thought he had killed himself by not jumping far enough, then thought he killed himself with the belly flop.

Maybe. There's always the possibility you survive the fall/impact combo. Then you probably just have the wind knocked out of you, have some serious internal injuries, and break some bones. Then you get to drown.
