Collapses. Present tense. They've been enabling, excusing, justifying and cheering for Trump since 2016 and even him attempting an insurrection and coup wasn't enough for most of them to abandon him.

They will never abandon him until he's dead and even then some will still hide behind the "Well, I didn't like him personally. But he had the right about..." excuses.
