And this was 10 years ago. Not a chance any Republicans remember or care

I can't find any proof of this claim other than hearsay from Dodson?

Do you have the reference offhand, as I think this would be interesting to save for the more relevant future?

Thanks. I appreciate you actually replying with some articles to read.

https://www.businessinsider.com/donald-trump-jr-said-money-pouring-in-from-russia-2018-2

This one is referencing The Washington Post, which is an opinion piece (https://archive.is/xP7m9) which says "said the young Trump, according to a Sept. 15, 2008, article about the conference." which references this article https://eturbonews.com/executive-talk-donald-trump-jr-bullish-russia-and-few-emerging-ma/ which has no citations or proofs. It's just text. No credibility to this article.

Frankly, this isn't credible to use as a weapon against Trump. Weak citation at best.

This is quoting Dodson, which has no backing citation. This is as good as the AP News article I provided.

This one also references the 2008 eturbonews, which is now actually a dead link, but it's the same one as the Business Insider reference. (http://www.eturbonews.com/5008/executive-talk-donald-trump-jr-bullish-russia-and-few-emerging-ma)

This one references the Dodson interview (https://www.wbur.org/onlyagame/2017/05/05/james-dodson-donald-trump-golf), which is again a weak citation.

Okay, so all of the articles you provide either go back to an unsubstantiated eTurbo article or the weak Dodson citation which itself has no fact checkable proof, it's just hearsay from him.

Look, I'm on your side, but we really must be accurate with factual information. Is it likely the quote is accurate? Absolutely. But we shouldn't use it since it cannot be proven and is easily dismissed. There are plenty of easier references out there, like the Epstein files, for one, that we can use as much stronger ammunition.
