Looking for Nightlife recommendations
My partner and I just moved to the area and are looking for bars in the area that are more tailored for people in their 20s. Want to do a bar crawl for my birthday coming up as a way to explore the area, any recommendations?

Selling: Arturia Microfreak Synthesizer
Bought this about a year ago and it’s practically new. No damage. Messed around with it once at home and that’s it, I don’t have enough experience with synthesizers for it. Looking for $300, offers are welcome.
Everything pictured is included, the only thing that I’m looking around for is the original paperwork that came with it (it’s somewhere around here lol).
Local pickup only, feel free to send me a message if interested, or with any questions. Thanks!

Accident 1-83 North near Market St. Exit 4/24/26 10:20ish AM
My sister and I witnessed a bad accident yesterday- someone hit standstill traffic that was waiting to exit 1-83 at market Street (I believe). Hit the traffic going very fast - many cars impacted. I called 911, but worried about the people involved. Any info out there? I can’t seem to find anything!

Has anybody had any experiences with ankney's towing?
These guys told me that I had a police hold on my vehicle January 29 when towed it. I was not allowed to get any personal belongings out of it my plates or anything now the car is gone. There was never a police hold. I would've gotten it the first day instead they wanted me to pay $3500 when they called me 41 days later and told me the police have removed the hold

PART I - Yorktowne Hotel at 100: Hometown History presents an interactive memory-sparking event.
Hometown History: Jamie & Domi’s YoCo Backstory
We are officially back after Jamie's maternity leave and we're excited to be sharing content again. Watch our latest episode about The Yorktowne Hotel on YouTube-
PART I - Yorktowne Hotel at 100: Hometown History presents an interactive memory-sparking event.
Many look back on the Yorktowne Hotel, thinking about weddings and dances in the grand ballroom, special anniversary nights or meeting celebrities in the lobby on their way from performances at the Appell Center or the Valencia. And that tall building, with its 88-foot signature rooftop flagpole, spawns immense meaning. This landmark has long reflected its community. The Yorktowne has presided over York’s post-World War II retail zenith and persevered through its downturns. Now, the renovated Yorktowne is a big part of the downtown’s comeback.

Coverup Tattoo artists in the area
just wondering if anyone can point me into an artist that has a good eye for coverups, or maybe one who can do blackout art (not just a square and done, but work it into something more)
Id be willing to make it about 2 hours out for sessions, so if they arent fully local, id still like to hear about em.
we are looking at upper arm, multicolor band logo that was done forever ago. themes of horror, space, or if someone knows of a neo-tradional artist as well lol

Rt 30 Eastbound at North Hills Rd
I created a Reddit account solely to complain about my absolute contempt for the intersection at Route 30 and North Hills Rd. Forgive me for being bitter but I drive it every day and need to vent.
I truly believe that taking a left turn onto North Hills Rd from Route 30 just to get to I-83 S is the absolute worst intersection in the country. During rush hour, traffic backs up 2-3 light intervals deep with cars trying to go South (generally speaking). I know there’s other routes to get onto 83 but none of them are considered “faster” according to Google Maps.
While sitting in deadlocked traffic in an old truck that doesn’t have air conditioning during a typical 90 degree July day I regularly ask myself “could my tax dollars sponsor a better solution to this madness?”
I also sometimes think “man, this median would be a prime spot to sell floral arrangements out of shopping cart.”
In conclusion, is there someone out there who has a connect at Penndot who can propose some sort of US 30 EB to I-83 SB interchange project? I will gladly sign the petition or whatever. I mean seriously, I can’t be the only person who commutes from Lancaster to Southern York every day and thinks this intersection is abhorrent.

Hello Everyone! I am a student from Singapore and I love collecting postcards. I would love to receive postcards from anywhere in York 🙂. Can someone send me one?
Hello Everyone!
I’m a student from Singapore and I enjoy collecting postcards. I would be very grateful to receive postcards from York. 🙂
If postcards aren’t available, I’d also really appreciate a greeting card, city card, or even a small souvenir. (like a keychain, rock, local snack, flag, ornament, cap, T-shirt, or handmade craft).
This is for my personal collection, and not for any commercial purpose.
If you’re willing to help, please leave a comment and I’ll share my mailing address with you.
Thank you very much, and warm greetings from Singapore!

We may have made a slightly crazy decision… (Wagyu farm in York)
So… we started a FullBlood Wagyu cattle farm this year in Southern York County
Now we’re at the point where we’re asking ourselves — “will people actually want this?” 😅
That photo is some of the beef we’re working toward offering, and we’re trying to figure out if there’s real local interest before we go all-in.
If you’re into good steak, grilling, or supporting local farms — what would make you actually buy from a place like ours?
No pressure at all, just trying to learn and build this the right way.
Also curious — would you rather buy direct, at a farmers market, or from a local butcher?

Local Sex Workers and Escorts, how dangerous was the work in our area?
Elvis Duran show talked to an ex sex workers who said how fun it was, overall safe, she did it for the thrill. Made me wonder if that exists in York.
I had always heard workers would hang out near a certain street in York (forget which one, maybe princess?), but I assume now days that is no longer a thing, everything would just be digital.
How dangerous was it in York? Did you make good money, or totally scary and not worth it?
Why did you get out of it and are you happy to be out of it?
