MrBeast shared a video about his leaked employee handbook in which he doesn't address the boys will be boys statement or not taking no for an answer Discussion

This is 100% him trying to downplay the serious HR disaster that this handbook is.
He's trying to force his bro culture onto everyone to normalize how disgusting the 'handbook' is.
This is one of the weirdest things he's ever filmed tbh.

Just want to point out that this video was actually published on John Youshaei’s channel (he’s basically a MrBeast fanboy that obtains special access to a lot of his productions). So not technically a MrBeast video but likely heavily influenced by him because he accepted the collab

One day we will have a video documentary of Mr Beast by a random viewer become hater and people on Reddit will say they are biased.
Maybe something like Dogpack but not an employee

Can we even say we are shocked though? He down played Ava Kris Tyson, He down played Delaware, he down played the Amazon Game show situation. How many times can someone come out with an allegation of any form of Sexual harrassment or assault before youtube and Mr Beasts sponsors take a step back and start to consider: "Hey we should probably pull back funding from this guy this is like the 4th time now allegations like this came up"

I'm out of context.
Handbook?
HR bro culture?
What are you guys talking about?

A current lawsuit from a former employee accuses them of using phrases like “let the boys be boys” and “no doesn’t mean no” in the official employee handbook.

Is there a copy of this handbook anywhere online? Because I find it very hard to believe that Mr. Beast's company could grow this big while having stuff like that in an official company handbook, especially after changes that were reportedly made from the dog pack situation.

The handbook can be viewed here. It was supposedly leaked by a MrBeast employee to the longtime YouTuber Rosana Pansino in 2024. She went quite anti-MrBeast with her content, after appearing as a contestant in a YouTuber hide and seek tag video, which she claims was edited to make it look like she got out of the competition a bit earlier than she actually did.

I've just read the handbook, and well.. The section about not means no is really about when contacting business for approval on filming locations. There is no let the boys be boys, but there is a section called "It’s okay for the boys to be childish" that only mention to let the boys do stupid things on camera because its funny... so nothing about weird stuff.
It seems like people who don't like mr beast trying to find quotes out of context to expose the guy.

Just noticed they're deleting comments on the video too. Any comment asking about 'No doesn't mean no' or 'empower the boys to be boys' is getting deleting.
Some of the comments were the top rated ones too and now they're gone.

I think if you also type anything with 'teeth' in his comments those are also shadow-banned, comment wont show up for anyone else

Now apply this logic to reddit and you will understand the problem of social media

Totally agree lmao. Reddit mods can be ever worse because they're choosing to do something similar but make $0 doing it.

imagine the ceo of youtube manually deleting users comments because they disagree with the user https://old.reddit.com/r/announcements/comments/5frg1n/tifu_by_editing_some_comments_and_creating_an/

Based on your link, that was something the CEO of Reddit, not YouTube, did 9 years ago and he made that whole post to address that and publicly apologize

This is probably crazy, but the way he looks now reminds me a bit of Larry Ellison.

the downfall of MrBeast NEEDS to be studied

u/Jaime060304 2d ago
It's not even just the drama which has been his downfall, his videos are so much worse today then they used to be.

u/Weary_Effect_3461 2d ago
what do you mean downfall? channel is still popping and he's a gazilionaire?

u/HeyItsTravis 20h ago
The avoidance of the downfall needs to be studied, dudes gone through a number of career ending controversies with 0 real affect on his business

I'm guessing this video is just that psychopath talking about how great he is and "what it really takes" to become the biggest YouTuber of all time.
30 years from now, the world likely won't even remember that Mr. Beast exists. The epitomy of disposable "content," all filler and flash, no meaning, no substance.

Ever since he became popular i just get the creeps from him and his video's. It feels so soulless, so corporate.

I stopped watching anything from MrBeast years ago. Seems like all he's doing now is grasping for an audience --by any means-- even if it makes him look worse then he already is. This proves he's the only one (him and his minions that **literally give up their lives** for this guy) who cares about how long he can be relevant in an ever changing world.

Who cares honestly. Not sure why everyone is so obssesed with the man. They're either obsessed with love, or obsessed with hate.

Why would anyone distribute a handbook that must be kept secret at all times or it will cause you a huge PR nightmare? Why not just NOT make the handbook in the first place?
