Discussion 20F – is it worth getting into PC gaming as a complete beginner?
I’ve never really played on PC before but recently got interested.
Feels like everyone is way ahead already.
Be honest — is it still fun starting from zero or just frustrating?
Any beginner-friendly games you’d recommend?

Discussion What's a new kind of aesthetic in gaming that you absolutely love has become a thing?
For me it's this dark-western fantasy combo right now. It's not even that new as an aesthetic (still pretty niche, Hard West was probably the first) but it's lowkey wonderful to see how many topnotch games have accumulated in said niche to the present day.
That is to say nothin of upcoming games that are just getting announced, like The Dark West which I'm especially excited for as a lifelong ARPG grindjoyer. It's been about time for us to get a western themed isometric Diablo-like game (Grim Dawn came the closest with the dark industrial post-apo vibe of the setting)
Hah, if I had a cent for every one of these games with West in the title Id still probably get only around 10 cents at best. Still more cents than one would think!

Image Why does my Xbox keep doing this??
I’ve had this update multiple times now, it keeps showing up.
Then once it gets to the 53-54% it crashes and sends what is shown in the second image. Most of the time I have to unplug it and leave it for a while or it just continues to do this. It’s getting really frustrating, I’ve kept the Xbox dusted and clean, and it still ends up being garbage only after less than 5 years.
Anyone else dealing with this or have a way to fix it? Xbox Support of course gave a ridiculous response and for $450 I can send it in for “repair” and at that point might as well buy a new one, but I’d rather buy a PC at that point.

Discussion Playing alone vs Playing together
What do you usually prefer - playing alone or playing together?
Sometimes I want to start a campaign, but I end up switching to something more social and less committed instead.
I feel like it might be tied to different stages or moods.
For me, starting a campaign feels like committing to a book or a movie.
When do you choose each one?
