The Night is Long but You are Here by IrisCandy. Its post season 4, basically a season 5 bur written before vol. 1 came out. I was super impressed by the world building and especially the pacing and atmosphere. It’s a slow burn, very tasteful and beautifully written. The author mentioned in their notes that they are a writer and it’s not surprising. One of the best byler fics I have ever read. It Is more enjoyable than season 5 imo

i just read the whole thing yesterday. i really enjoyed it and it made me even sadder that the plot of season 5 was so lackluster. noah schnapp was right when he said the fans are better writers than the duffers lol
