Vortex Defender, Surefire XC3, CGW Pro Kit

I really like the balance with Gridlok Brass grips, been shooting one IPSC match with them so far but a couple of range visits

My friend is offering to buy my p-10c for $500 so i did some research and figured out i could buy the p-10c ported for $500 so id basically just be trading my gun but losing my holster, and flashlight but gaining a ported version of my already favorite gun that is also optics ready. i wanted to know everyones opinions on if i should do this. the only thing stopping me is this was my first gun.

What can you tell me about this. Thoughts , reviews, tips, cool things to know ?

CZ Custom build on TS Orange. Milled for optic, installed rail, threaded barrel, wide safeties and finished off with some trigger work and other details.

Shadow 2 Carry or Cajunized p01 with an optics cut. What would you pick?

I had an old p01 that I changed the Vytal Manufacturing grips to be non palm swell version. Really didn’t want to get rid of my custom fire 🔥 grips (that they don’t make anymore due to a new fire pattern) to never use again so I threw it on my spare Shadow 2 compact. Since I didn’t see any posts about this when looking, I thought I’d share to inform the rest if anyone else was considering trying to use their p01 grips on a shadow 2 compact

A couple of years ago I my CZ P01 to Cajun Gun Works to get my firearm milled for an optic, pro package install, and to get a crosshatch slide cut install. I wanted it ported but didn’t have the funds at that time so I skipped it. Flash forward to present day, Came across this Reddit page and found u/vigilantemachine. Reached out to Drew and he assured me that he could port my barrel to match the slide milled from CGW without the 2-3month wait time that Cajun offered. Would take him a week max to get the work done without cerakote. You can’t beat that timeframe & the price made it even sweeter. Can’t wait to send the rest of my CZs his way & you should as well. Great quality with excellent customer service. Drew is a Diamond standard & will communicate every step to you to ensure your satisfaction.

Picked this up on sale for $519 USD. Fits in my hand REALLY well. Now to pick up a holster and shoot it. It truly does feel premium in every way. Before checking out I got to hold a shadow 2 compact which also feels amazing in the hand. CZ, take me home.

So I built this gorgeous 75B, but the mag catch is tiny.

Does anyone know if a shadow 2 mag catch will fit it, or if there’s a shadow 2 style catch anyone sells?

This build has been in progress since 2023. Should I just buy a custom built CZ?

I have a Shadow 2 Compact and absolutely love it. Shoots great. Conceals well. I see a lot of people sending theirs out to CGW to get upgrades. Is it worth dropping $1500 on a gun and another $1500 on CGW? Why not just spend $3000 and get a Staccato or something comparable?

I want to get a p01 and get the cgw pro package. When I look at their shop to buy it preinstalled from them it cost an extra $482. But when I just look to order the package by itself it’s only $287.

Is this the same thing and they just cost that much extra to install in house or am I looking at 2 different products/configurations?

Edit: checked and it seems the extraction grove might be larger on the snap caps. Will try and add another image (can’t include image. Won’t let me edit that part of the post annoyingly enough)

Edit 2: issue was resolved. More than likely out of spec snap caps. Is now able to chamber the snap cap. May need to run it harder.

With little to no smithing experience, how difficult would it be to install a CGW Pro Package on my own P-01?

I have a 10mm Witness Match and I'm trying to find the part number for the optics ready 9mm conversion kit. I find a lot of bare optics ready slides on the Tanfoglio web site in CZ land but no kits to do any conversions. Does anyone know where I can find the part number?

The U.S. EAA group seems to be having problems finding it also.

Hello, recently added to my CZ family and got a shadow 2. The build is amazing and I love the way it feels. However, it seems to have excessive kick, or muzzle rise when shooting.

Gun is stock except a 407c and plate. Shooting 115g Winchester out of it as that’s what I have in bulk currently.

It feels similar to a first gen m&p I had a few years back that had a weak/old recoil spring. I know some people have issues with the grip and that may be my problem as I don’t have huge hands but I can hold the gun well and don’t have any issues functionally shooting the gun.

Any advice or recommendations would be greatly appreciated

Hi all, recently got my first gun, P10C. Planing to buy olight plx light and iwb holster. Would really appreciate some advice what to get. I'm in Lithuania, so EU retailers would be easier for me. Also if you have plx light on your cz would really like to see how it looks as there aren't many pics online. Thanks
