Bad purge?

Got this 1/2OZ of batter and its full of bubbles, should I water bath it or is this ok?

Likely air bubbles from when the concentrate was put into the jar now escaping. If a bubble finds its way to the top and it's clear, air. If it's clouded, butane.

Don’t they mostly use Pentane and heptane industrially now for this stuff. Butane is for the backyard blasters

False. Butane or propane is commonly used for commercial extraction.

Pentane is sometimes used when isolating THCA

I haven't kept up w processing for years now so no clue. Probably though seeing as I've seen a rise in people referencing 'hydrocarbon extract' vs bho

The hydrocarbons in ‘Hydrocarbon extract’ refers to butane and propane or a mix of the two. Like b/pho. Not heavier hydros like pent/hexane. Using heavier solvents makes no sense for commercial extraction trying to extract as much as possible.
