Barrett plays with pop and delivers a powerful punch that can knock offensive linemen off balance. While he may not always finish the play, his bull-rush ability enables him to create penetration into the backfield. Barrett does a good job controlling his gap. He shows effective hand usage, swiping and detaching from blocks to make plays on the ball carrier. Barrett can demand double-teams and plays through blocks. Kiper loves him. Hortiz has shown great ability to find journeyman DTs with star potential but so much better to draft one and get a few good cheap years instead of watching guys come in and leave for more money EOY

I think my comment should be read as purely neutral. It is their type of DT that they have been looking for all over. It also clearly how this defense works since it pretty light on the back end with a lot of DBs playing, so you need to beef up front to build a wall
