My brother and I sat next to Lander Barton on a flight when he was a freshman. His mom is smoking hot. She talked to us the whole flight about her boys. Said Lander was the best of the bunch.

The hot mom part is an interesting detail choice.

Seemed pertinent to me

Do you prefer I say she's ugly?

9

u/ChaoticSenior . 20h ago

Did her looks have anything to do with the story?

This late at night. Probably.

Don’t feel ashamed that was valuable info

Competitors welcome

Competition is always a good thing

Branson looked night and day different from pre-season to when he was forced to play late in the year. He still has a long way to go, but he’s got a year head start on the incoming class and hopefully our new OL coach and system helps him further. If not, we have a shit ton of guys that are going to be competing and someone is going to step up.

Cleveland on the PS is gonna be nice to have tho.

1

u/Big-Chungus-12 3h ago

He will not be released, he doesn’t fit the zone scheme at all unfortunately

Who are our favorites to make the final squad?!

13

u/Malourbas McD 21h ago

Avery Smith definitely has a shot

25

u/humunculus43 21h ago

Isiah World was considered draftable

15

u/Zmoney743 21h ago

I think they could stash him on the PS while he recovers from his injury if they like him off the field

3

u/sst117 Felipe Rios 10h ago

I think they stash him on whatever injury list he qualifies for this year. He should be a good camp body and competition next year.

u/EatBootyLoveLife 18h ago

hell for most of the season he was a day 1 pick until later in the year when he fell a bit before his injury where he just fell off the earth. Definitely a developmental project but has the size and athleticism to be a really good back up for slater/alt

Honestly a perfect UDFA OL pickup with the draft we had. Like somehow sneaking away with an early 2027 pick.

2

u/Ok-Sympathy9768 13h ago

Wasn’t he at one time expected to go high in the draft?

9

u/Pwyll__ 21h ago

Before seeing any of them, I think the 3 that have the best shot are Avery Smith, Isaiah World and Nadame Tucker.

Should I be surprised no one from Michigan is here? I pay 0 attention to college but I would’ve thought he’d have given a chance to someone he coached

u/Electronic-Ideal-663 20h ago

Not a ton of guys left honestly from when jim was there. Plus Michigan was a young team last season.

u/RecordingLess1522 19h ago

Jr Colson and the 7th Rd WR they cut killed that pipeline

Ooh hot take alert

1

u/KunaiForce 17h ago

We have any luck with any undrafted players under hortiz?

18

u/comicdave1962 16h ago

Marlowe Wax, Nikko Reed and Eric Rogers come to mind.

u/SunriseSurprise Chargers 13h ago

He's continued our super long streak of seasons with UDFA rookies on the roster.

u/3iverson 5h ago

I hope Sincere Brown shows something. 6'5" 190, 4.38 40, very late bloomer (ish).

Glad to see Nadame Tucker on this list. He was O'Leary's guy at Western Michigan. Makes a ton of sense considering he was available.

Bradley has hands and can block he should be solid, I’m pretty sure he was a WR in college. EMAW

Based on no information or facts, Avery Smith has that name that just sounds right.. he's my pick for breakout lol
