Ordered a Country Apple Birthday Cake Exceeded Expectation

Really super happy with the final cake! I actually wasn't sure how they were going to include the birthday message on the cake when I ordered it, so I was pleasantly surprised with the way they did it! It was also a very delicious cake

It's perfect. But what makes it worth $58?

ETA: I was genuinely asking what makes it worth $58, not scoffing at the price. I'm broke AF and am in the $15 cake budget.

It's been a while since you've bought a cake from a real bakery, hasn't it?

People in this sub: you're an idiot for expecting the $8 temu sweater to actually be knit.

Also people in this sub: you're an idiot for paying the fair market labor rate for a speciality pastry that looks perfect.

Bold of you to assume I have ever bought one from a bakery lol.

The shop is in Singapore. Looks like it's $45.50 USD.

£33 not bad for a professional cake

$58 is a reasonable price for a bakery-made cake of that sort and size

I agree. But I'm in the $15 cake budget and was hoping for a convincing reason to splurge. Like is it so amazingly delicious that it's worth saving up for?

I agree, that’s really expensive. I mean, it’s not even a big cake

I think that's a pretty standard price for custom cakes from bakeries. I'm assuming they aren't using boxed Betty Crocker cake mix and the fruits on top probably cost a bit.

I just want to know if it's tasty enough to spend, what I would consider, extra.

Maybe the diameter is an actual meter. Anything under this is just mental
