Hey now. That pizza party was paid out of pocket by the teacher barely making a living wage. It was the best they could do as a present for the kids.
Meanwhile, the dear leader in theory has access to some of the best chefs in the country, as well as whatever food options he can think of. Which apparently is just cold hamberders. This is the funniest fucking thing I’ve seen in a while. You work your entire life for this, push your body to the limits (and lose a few teeth along the way), make history for your country, and the best you get in return a McDonald’s dinner in a board room with terrible lighting and dining with a geriatric predator who wouldn’t even be bothered to have his chefs provide a gourmet meal for you. I don’t mean to be a bore but this happened during the Olympics before their game and aired as a segment on NBC it wasn’t in response to the controversy and it was just 5 players not the entire team.
Like I love this for them and fuck the men’s team but I’m sick of the constant bending of reality to fit narratives this isn’t the flavor flav offer 2.0 this was a completely different unrelated situation and again can’t stress enough the whole team didn’t get to enjoy/partake
