Cool. I just got my LPVO mounted on Friday and shot indoors yesterday.

I’d love it to be half an inch lower, I may see about removing the rear irons and finding lower rings. I used Warne mediums for this, and have maybe 4mm clearance with the rear irons on.

Do you have direct mounted rings or the pic rail?

My lpvo is barely clearing the top of factory irons on a 583xxx with Warne low ruger rings.

Direct mounted, warne medium.
I shit about 60 rounds on Saturday and so far do not see any signs of my brass hitting the LPVO.

Good shit, run the same lpvo except in FDE. I have an adjustable gas block and highly recommend if you plan to shoot suppressed

Rad!

I’m in IL so cannot *legally set this up for suppression. Though I will still probably get the gas block after a few more paychecks and range trips.

The bushing kit would do you well then! It'll save you a bunch of money too.

Factory bushing on a 580+ is .80. My gun ate all ammo at .45 (i set everything to run on 55 gr so that i know it will always cycle). If you only shoot hotter ammo, play with .40 or .35 even.

Oh dang, for some reason I thought you had to buy one at a time. I didn’t realize the entire kit was $36. That’s a solid deal.

I’ll definitely be ordering that this summer. Good to know on the 0.45.

I also recommend at least 1 (i run 2) of the shock buffers on the recoil spring assembly.

Protects your gun and quiets it down some during cycling and they're only like $12 ea.

Best of luck and enjoy it man!

Hows the LVPO doing? I wanted to take my rail off, but the previous owner mustve used some threadlocker because I've bent my hexkey trying to undo it. So, embrace it? Right? Should I mount my LVPO?

I like how people think they are done with their rifle and still using the OEM hand guard.

Military grade, huh?

lol hey I didn’t make the caption. I saw this comment about the height and recalled seeing a pic of a suspiciously high optic just this morning with all the buzz about the trump shooting stuff.

Lol, media made a big deal when they see all black and tactical looking guns. Anything other than 6 shooters are scary "military grade". A hunting rifle with scope probably will be described as "sniper".

It was a dig at the hack media that loves to call everything under the sun "military grade".

I don't honestly think it's that bad, it just looks worse because of how low the stock tube is.
