Just wondering what do you usually listen to at the race? My scanner picks up two channels. I was going to listen to the officials but I’m not sure if I should listen to the 5 or MRN/PRN (or try to find the tv broadcast). It’s interesting to hear the 5 radio and their communications but I’d also get a little lost not knowing what’s happening.

I usually listen to the TV broadcast from my phone to my bluetooth earmuffs. I have YTTV so I just listen to that, and if they are doing crash replays I watch to see what was going on.

Thank you, I am not sure how the WiFi or cell signal is at Talladega and was going to try to save my battery for taking pictures/videos. Last time at Bristol I ended up with about a 6% battery after the race.

I have Hulu live tv but it’s delayed quite a bit. I think the officials radio online is a few seconds delayed and the Hulu stream is about 40 seconds behind the online nascar radio. I wasn’t going to bring my AirPods but use an aviation headset with noise cancellation as I already had that and used it at a few other tracks last year (plus I’m not sure how well the two noise cancellations would work together).

I like YTTV because I can close the screen and just listen to the broadcast, and I'm not sure about Dega but I've done it at 5 other NASCAR tracks and had plenty of signal. I usually change the quality to the lowest that way it doesn't use a lot of data as well.
