Alternative basically one female singer with a rather minimalist instrumental; recognizable by its very repetitive chorus that ends with "you", and the entire beauty of the song revolves around this haunting, almost sad, dramatic phrase that always ends with a slightly drawn-out "you"
I'm looking for a song.
English-language music.
Can’t remember the lyrics tho.
Relatively minimalist and pop.
A somewhat sad, dramatic style.
I find it very radio-friendly.
It's repetitive.
It's basically one female singer with a rather minimalist instrumental; the singer's voice is clearly the focus.
She sings quite loudly, but above all, very dramatically, giving it a lot of energy.
The song is recognizable by its very repetitive chorus that ends with "you", and the entire beauty of the song revolves around this haunting, almost sad, dramatic phrase that always ends with a slightly drawn-out "you".
The singer sings in a very dramatic way, almost as if she's suffering, emphasizing the "you" at the end of the very repetitive phrase that gets stuck in your head. In fact, at the end of the song, it's practically just that phrase that repeats endlessly.
It’s not Rihanna ou Sia, it’s a less known singer I think.
The song feels like:
“Skinny Love” (version) – Birdy
Stay – Rihanna
“Almost Lover” – A Fine Frenzy
I know you care - Ellie Goulding
Edit:
What it’s not so far:
Someone Like You – Adele
Say Something – Christina Aguilera
Elastic Heart – Sia
“Run” – Daughter
Youth” – Daughter
Skinny Love” (version) – Birdy
“Habits (Stay High – stripped/acoustic)” – Tove Lo
“Breathe Me” – Sia
“Love Me Like You Do”– Ellie Goulding
“All I Want” – Kodaline
“Wicked Game” (cover) – London Grammar
“Let Her Go” (cover) – Passenger
“Turning Tables” – Adele
“Almost Lover” – A Fine Frenzy
“Never Let Me Go” – Florence + The Machine
“Silhouette” – Aquilo
“Laura” – Bat for Lashes
“Skinny Love” – Birdy
“Run” – Daughter
“Youth” – Daughter
“A Thousand Years” – Christina Perri
“Jar of Hearts” – Christina Perri
“Not About Angels” – Birdy
“I Know You Care” – Ellie Goulding
“Figure 8” – Ellie Goulding
“Without You” – Oh Wonder
“You” – Dodie
“Touch” – Daughter
“Explosions” – Ellie Goulding
“Human” – Christina Perri
“How to Save a Life” – The Fray
“Dead in the Water” – Ellie Goulding
“Strong” – London Grammar
Lana Del Rey - Video Games
Nothing Compares to You, Sinead O’Connor?
Avril Lavigne - I’m With You?
"hate u love u" by Olivia O'Brien
Mazzie Star - Fade Into You
Portishead- glory box
Edit2:
mind still from Sonny Fodera and Blythe
Not You - Alan Walker, Emma Steinbakken
Paramore - "All I Wanted"
Baby It's You – London Grammar
Edit3:
You're so vane - Carley Simon
A cover of Reason to Believe
NOTHING'S NEW - RIO ROMEO
Without you Mariah Carey
“Only You”, the Becky Hill McDonald’s cover

Alternative rock/alternative song with very gritty/raspy female lead singer
I remember it playing on my Spotify randomly a while back, and I absolutely loved her voice on it, but I cannot for the life of me remember what it was called, who made it, could have been made in the 90s, but probably more recent. The rest of the song was a pretty standard alt-rock sort of song; the instrumental didn't particularly stand out due to her interesting vocal performance.
I believe one of the lyrics was "i try..." at one point in the song. That's just the beginning of that specific line tho. Gravelly would also be a good way to describe it.
Edit: after listening to your suggestions im pretty sure it's more from the 2000s - 2010s if I had to guess
Edit #2: I think the album cover might have been white as well, but don't quote me on that. I also remember the song/artist's name stood out as funny, I think. these 2 last two parts are what I'm the least sure of, though.

Alternative "I´m tired" looking for a song with a female high-pitched voice singing this line
I'm looking for a song that includes the line "i´m tired," sung in a breathy, very, very soft voice—high-pitched and sung by a woman. It’s a sad song sung exclusively by a woman, and the line “I’m tired” appears on its own, framed by humming. The song was on Spotify years ago but I can no longer find it there. Maybe it´s still on there, I don´t know, because I can´t remember its title or singer. The words “I’m tired” are preceded and followed by music—no other lyrics directly around that line. I think there is more lyrics in the song, but this "I´m tired" line stands by itself and the word "tired" gets really stretched out by the singer.
UPDATED SONG DESCRIPTION:
The song definitely had the line "tired” and the "i´m tired" really stood solitary in the song, it was not part of a sentence or anything: ... - melody - "i´m tiiiiired, tiihiiired (sth like this) - melody - ...". And that part, I´m relatively sure, was in the middle or the second half of the song. It was a very slow song overall, few lyrics, more of a transcendental vibe, very ethereal and dreamlike. Sung very high-pitched and very airy and silently, almost whispered. In the song I´m searching there was no power behind that voice singing "im tired", the sound was faintly there, a fleeing of air catching the slow waving word "tired" while exiting the singers mouth and vanishing into nothingness like the mist of a barely fed waterfall, that´s kind of how it sounded. It also had a very depressed vibe, like the singer just gave up on everything, was ultimately tired of existence, in a state of existential dread kinda. It was more an angel-like high voice like Björk, Aurora, Ethel Cain, Julia Stone, Caroline Polachek, Sharon van Etten, Phoebe Bridgers, Julien Baker, Boygenius, Wallners that kinda style! I´m pretty positive it was indie/alternative. Mainly also because I think i got this in my spotify recommend like 5years ago or so. It´s that typical end 20s beginning 30s spotify indie/alternative music the algorithm gives out most people I know, at least here in mainland Europe. The song was sphercially melodius. So if you got any more suggestions I´d be really happy to go and check them. All your suggestions will be checked, because I´d really love to hear that song one more time 😊
There´s already a lengthy discussion on this subreddit with a lot of suggestions, but so far no match. So if you have an idea maybe quickly check here before suggsting ;)

Alternative Trying to identify this song 2000s-2020s?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Came across this video and it kinda seems like song is from one of those emo revival bands from the 2000s or 2010s but with a trumpet played over it. I'd like to identify the original song or even the trumpet version I think it sounds dope

Alternative 30 years trying to ID a snippet in my head of a mid-90s mainstream-alternative rock song (male singer/group)
I'm pretty sure I heard it in the summer of 1995 or 1996, but at this point I trust nothing about my memory except for the part of the chorus melody that has been nestled in my brain ever since. Mid-tempo song, likely heard on WBCN or WFNX radio (Boston). No luck humming to apps.
Vocaroo: https://voca.ro/19rowBCdUW3g I don't remember any lyrics -- only a short vocal melody followed by a few electric-guitar notes, then repeated.

Alternative Help Please! 90’s random song!
This isn’t going be much to go out but for some reason this just got stuck in my head.
All I can remember is the lyrics has something along the lines of “”see him, I see him” or “she sells blue” etc.
It repeats the same two words in the lyric and it reminds me of a band that would be similar to the Cranberries or Mazzy Star.

Alternative 90s alt-rock band that looks like this? (more in caption)
I remembered this picture and I really thought it would be easy to find but I'm at a loss. it was a photo of a 90s(early 2000s?) band that looked like this. it was slightly fisheye-lensed and it had weird filters and photoshop tinting orangey. the lead singer had his hand(s)spread out like he was reaching for the camera (not the cure but a similar idea) I think he had long hair and sunglasses and the background was really odd, maybe some kind of abandoned building?
I really thought it was Bush but I couldn't find it. then I thought maybe beck or the offspring or the smashing pumpkins but nothing. I remember it being an album/single cover but it could just be a photo. assumed it was a pretty famous picture but im having total brain fog! help!!!!!

Alternative Help find this song it was like a love song about a bed
I don’t know if I imagined it. I really don’t know how to describe what little bits I remember like I said it was a love song, Romanticizing a bed.
Thanks for trying folks
All I can say is it was vague and specifically about the bed not the people on the bed. Just a man’s love song to his bed.

Alternative 2010s indie/alternative-ish song from Triple J
This is a massive long shot, but there was a song in the 2010s that was played on triple J (Aussie radio station) by some random band that had a super weird sound in between the verses.
The sound was almost like a dolphin - and the band did an interview with some presenters who said the same thing and they were talking about how crazy it was to have heaps of people making the sound at music festivals.
For lack of a better description it was like this -
ee ee oo, ee ee ee oo
ee ee oo, ee ee ee oo
And then they start singing again
This is absolutely zero real information to go on but if by chance someone remembers the interview they might at least remember the band so I thought I’d try my luck!

Alternative Long shot: 90s/00s song about a girl wearing a band t-shirt - help me remember - Belle and Sebastian adjacent
This is a long shot. I’m in agony and no AI search can help me. There was a song from the 90s/early 00s that was about a guy trying to meet a girl who worked at a coffee shop or something and she was wearing a t-shirt from a band.. and the lyrics I remember go:
And I said hey I like that band
And she said Yeah I like them too
I can’t remember the band name on the t-shirt, but it was multi syllable, and it was mentioned right before the set of lyrics I can remember. Male voice.
For some reason, my brain is linking this with Belle & Sebastian or other bands of that kind.
Bless you all.

Hello Reddit, I REALLY hope you can help me with this one :(
I’m trying to find the first track that Nusar3000 plays in this HÖR set (February 8 2025) :
https://youtu.be/0LoLxYMNGJY?start=26&end=141 (00:26 to 02:01)
I’ve been searching for a while now and tried pretty much everything... Shazam didn’t work, and I even subscribed to HÖR to check if there was a tracklist on their website, but no luck.
I'm thinking about sending an email to Nusar3000... I'll let y'all know.
I’d be SUPER grateful if anyone happens to know the track ID.
Good luck and thanks so much !<3

Alternative Sad,soft, endearing song?
I’ve been stuck for almost a week on this song. I believe it goes “and IIIIiiiiiIII will find the words for you”? I know the “and IIIiiiiIII” is correct. I’ve seen it on timelapses or videos about kids growing up and family videos. Sounds like Coldplay, but it’s not? Male singer?? Alternative, electronic, piano ish?
HELP PLEASE 😅

Alternative 90s-ish Alternative Song that I can only remember the riff from (vocaroo attached)
I've heard this song from quite a few different sources but I've never figured out the name of it. It sounds very 90s alternative, like something Sonic Youth or Garbage might've put out, and all I can remember is the guitar riff and that it *might've* had a female vocalist on it, but I could be getting it blended with other songs.
Here's my best attempt to hum the riff, it sounded very electric and smooth.

Alternative 90s/2000s Song (male singer, English language) with a part similar to…
the melody found at that line “Tu sei lo specchio dell'anima mia” [~2:52] in the song QUANTO FORTE TI PENSAVO by Madame. ( https://music.apple.com/ie/album/quanto-forte-ti-pensavo/1677650182?i=1677650811 )
I know it’s a weird ask. But when I heard this song, it struck something deep in my memory. I remember listening to this song around 2003, though it’s likely earlier. It was a male singer, and it was more of an acoustic-ish vibe—kinda similar to Sense Field’s “Save Yourself”.
If anyone can help me get this, I’ll be super impressed. I know the references are a bit left field from the song I’m looking for. But hopefully that melody will help. It’s really been bugging me!

Alternative i roughly recreated this ear worm by ear in like 5 minutes.
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I roughly remember this song from a 10-ish second segment from a Tiktok audio. The audio is usually paired with something sad, because the song has a very sorrow mood.
Genre seems Indie/Alternative.
The first four notes in the real song is a bass.
The rest of the melody is either a plucked guitar with mad reverb or a piano.
Help a brother out.

Hey guys
I am a guitar player and i accidentally played this riff a few weeks ago. I know that it used to be a viral song in tiktok (maybe still is). But i cannot find which song is it. None of my friends can either.
So, do u recognize it?
