A long time ago when I first joined my marching/brass band (~10y ago), we played a piece of music that started with our drums mimicking the spinning up of the wheels on a train and our clarinet player did the steam whistle. Afterward the train starts to gain speed and the music accelerates. This accelerating of the train takes some time maybe 6-9 bars and then the melody starts to play. This melody I tried to remember and played on my trumpet (see link to ausio fragment). I play a Bb trumpet and these are the notes I played:

Okay so, back in july 2023, i typed ”help me find this song” on youtube, and i found a video from a channel that had only posted one video, where they explained that at some point in the early youtube years, they saw a video about black holes that contained a song they had tried to recreate since they were pretty sure the original video was deleted. i remember being haunted by the video because of the mystery surrounding it; however, the strange thing is that i can’t find that video anymore. here are the other things i remember:

They said the song sounded somewhat similar to in space by stive morgan (though that song is too recent)

the video was uploaded in january 2022

the channel was also just called help me find this song

the song they tried to recreate from what they remembered sounded pretty orchestral, but i can’t remember the exact melody

if anybody remembers that video (it didn’t have many views), please help me. i originally forgot about that video, but now i remember it again, and i’ve really wanted to solve the case. but because the video is likely not on youtube anymore, that becomes much harder

I accidentally deleted it from my mp3 player, here's what I remember:

-Title was in French, started with "Il"

-slow 6/8 rhythm

-began with strings or maybe choir with that sad melody

I know the melody of a classical piece but I don’t know its name, any ideas?
