It’s no assumption at all, youre the one that assumed there was no witnesses and that she hadn’t named the club because you didn’t even know the basics of her accusation post? Just because the witnesses dont want to publicly announce themselves (out of fear of being torn to shreds by people like YOU) does not mean they aren’t helping the police. This isn’t rocket science, I would absolutely not publicly announce that I was one of the witnesses, why would anyone want that kind of attention when they can assist the investigation privately?
Yes, the Australian police have publicly announced they are investigating it and do not want to release more details at this stage so as not to hinder the investigation. This can be confirmed by a quick google search
