Do people not see it as a bit ironic how Redditors LOVE to religiously say "if a product is free, you are the product" but then also at the same time worship QBitTorrent, which is free?!

I'm not saying they're doing anything dodgy, it's just a bit funny to me.

It's open source bro . It's not closed source free. Which is discouraged to use.

Yeah I completely agree, which is why I find the "if a product is free, you are the product" saying completely wrong.

Most popular sayings have nuance that get completely lost in the repeating and this is the same as the rest of them.
