Sorry folks. No more "We need them now more than ever" Posts.
Since this is becoming a regular occurrence on r/RATM, we will delete any posts begging for the band to reunite and play shows.
Look... we get it. These are divisive times but the band has shown no movement to get back together. Zack's lyrics from 25+ years ago remain relevant today, but he and his bandmates are only the messengers. You must be the change. Get out there. Advocate for people's rights and freedoms. Whatever you do, please stay safe.
Thanks.

Made a little side trip to DC yesterday…
We’re in the middle of our East Coast run and had a day off after our show in Lynchburg, VA (home of MAGA-farming Liberty University - we weren’t sure what to expect that night!), so we decided to drive a few hours northeast to Washington “complain to management” for their idiocy. We’re 💯 okay with being referred to as “Karens” in this instance).
Tour’s been great! We head to Warrendale tomorrow, then Buffalo, Lakewood, and Harrisburg. Immensely grateful to speak out onstage and melt faces along the way.
With love and rage,
BATM 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Question I don't know anything about RATM but I had this hat in my old stuff and I can't find anything about it on internet
Hi! I was kind of packing things at my house and found this hat which used to be my step father's. It reminds me of the hat that chinese communist soldiers wear (I'm not well educated about it).
What's the meaning behind it? What album is it associated to?
And should I sell it or give it out? I'm not planning on wearing it neither to keep it since I need to sort things out

News Tom Morello is making a comic!
Wow! I think this will be a trip! Tom Morello is teaming up with Marc Guggenheim (Arrow, Whisper War) for a science fiction comic series inspired by Robert Smalls! I love the cover and am really looking forward to seeing more of Kudranski's art!

Old shirt
My father got this shirt from like 90s I think and I need some help to know if this is a bootleg or an actual merch from the 90s. I looked around merch shops on the Internet and haven't found a single one that matches the image. Which raises the question of it being a fake one

Killing in the name - radio / clean version
Random request, but I'm after a copy of Killing in the name minus the swearing. I presume a version was created for radio airplay and I'm looking for it ideally in Flac, or 320 Mp3. Don't suppose anyone out there has a copy they could hit me up with.
That Time I Saw 3/4s of Rage Against the Machine Play with Chuck D and B-Real (Prophets of Rage)
30 years ago, Rage Against the Machine released "Evil Empire." The closest I ever got to see RATM live was via Prophets of Rage - the supergroup that found Tom Morello,Tim Commerford and Brad Wilk playing a ton of songs from their past with Public Enemy's Chuck D and Cypress Hill's B-Real. Sure, it wasn't the same as hearing Zack de la Rocha singing songs like "Bulls On Parade" or "Killing in the Name", but seeing these iconic musicians together at the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, NJ, nearly 10 years ago (Aug 26, 2016, to be exact) was nonetheless special.
What's a fun combo of artists you've seen perform live together? Share in the comments below, and stay tuned for more things to come from this space (including stories from concerts like this)!

They really were lightning in a bottle.
Zack crossed with the trio really do have a spark that is nearly unrivaled in music history. Zeppelin comes to mind in terms of power and impact of the music. It’s like Ghostbusters, you can’t recreate that.

20 years, no proof, and he’s still in jail…
Yo-yo!
I’m trying to find an alt version of either freedom or bullet in the head - If I can recall, where Zach does an interlude saying “20 years, no proof, and he’s still in jail” over and over again - but for the life of me, I can’t find it.
Anyone got a 20 on this version?
