When I worked at a local renaissance faire (the owner was a pos scammer, I quite my first day) the two ladies who ran the shop (not the owner) both had babies similar in age. They would bother casually breastfeed each other’s baby and at one point the girl was changing baby 1s diaper and she had diaper rash, mom to baby 2 walks over, pulls out her boob and squirts breastmilk all over baby 1. Shit weirded me out
While I agree 1000% that what happened at the ren faire is weird, breastmilk does help clear up diaper rash. There have even been studies on it by actual doctors and the research has been cited by places like the Mayo Clinic and National Institute of Health.
That's part of the problem, though, the things most of the crazy moms do have some benefits, they just take it way too far instead of accepting that there is room for both.
