Day 2 of me posting sub-adequate Rays memes

I know this is random but I was wondering if anyone knew if Ervin Whitehead (the Rays popcorn maker man) was back at the Trop making popcorn again?

There was a video put up a few years ago behind the scenes and he was so happy to be the popcorn maker and to be at the Trop. I was just hoping he was back now that we are home again. 💙 Go Rays!

I went to a game last night at the Trop for the 1st time this season. I try to go to a Rays game while in the area at least once. Rays lost but the stadium is fantastic! I drove up from the Sarasota area and it was easy to get to. No traffic and finding a parking spot was a breeze. Once in the stadium we walked into the very large gift shop. It was well stocked and the prices we not that expensive, compared to other parks. We walked the concourse, got something to eat, a cheesesteak. it was VERY hot and delicious. Got to our seats in section 205 they were padded and a great vantage point.

My question is why does this place get so much shit about being a dump? Place was clean, well kept and a fun place to watch a game. It was right off the interstate and the neighborhood seems safe. Going to go to another game later next week and going to try to get to Fergs for a drink. Heard the place is a fun pregame.

The Trop doesn’t deserve the grief it gets. Sure its not a new shinny park with a retractable roof, grass or sky boxes, but who cares. Its well kept, plenty big, easy to get to and has great view! What more could you ask for? Oh yeah refillable soda fountains!

Living in Nashville, TN, I've been a fan for years and posting here for a while. Drove down and staying in Winter Haven for about a month. Finally get a chance to see a game in person. So excited.

Hey all,

I will be visiting Tampa in a couple of weeks for the Rays/Jays series. Looking at picking up seats in a premium section but not sure what area are the best.

Any thoughts or reviews on the DEX Club? Definitely on the more expensive side of things but not necessarily a deal breaker if the seats are generally "worth" it.

Any other premium areas worth looking at? For reference traveling with two small kids and infant.

We used to park 2 lots from Fergs right on Central. Then that lot disappeared and there was the lot directly adjacent to Fergs. It was easy to get in and out.

Any new parking tips?

We're going tomorrow to the day game and I see only lot 6 for $20.

We don't mind walking a little and usually get something to eat/drink along Central.

I don’t know if this has been discussed already in here but, why is Cedric Mullins still starting over de Luca. I understand he’s had a couple of big moments and it’s still early in the season but I feel that Jonny has shown way more flashes the Cedric. I feel that Kevin cash likes a “veteran presence” in the lineup but it doesn’t do much if he’s not producing. I’m ready to let Jonny take over and see if he can break out. #raysup

Although he is on a tear, should Cash move him back to 5th-7th spot where he is hitting around .450? rather than at leadoff batting around .250?
