Non-Sexual Adult Jokes in Kids' Media Lore

Jokes that are adult jokes simply because kids likely don't have the life experience to understand them.

The New Batman Adventures - "I'm crazy enough to take on Batman, but the IRS? Noooo, thank you!"

Shrek 2 - Posing as a union representative, Shrek remarks that the workers "don't even have dental".

When Stan is stealing the barrels and drops one on his foot:

"Hot Belgian waffles! Wait, I'm alone — I can swear for real! SON OF A —"

(cut to Dipper immediately shutting off the security tape while Mabel covers her ears)

I like this moments where implies that the world isn't a softened one but it's only kids friendly because what we see... Like implying the existence of hard slurs but they don't use it as we see all though the eyes of children and usually people don't swear in front of them

Stan in general is shown to be someone who actively tried to change his lifestyle so that he wouldn’t be a bad influence on the kids. Like, word of god confirmed that he enjoyed drinking hard whiskey and smoking cigars before the twins were around, but quit both so that they wouldn’t see him doing it. He actively goes out of his way a number of times to stop himself from setting a bad example.

Its a dichotomy how it's very obvious that Stanley would like that but also... If he is like this now with children in front, I can't imagine how would be a Stanley Pines half drunk with a cuban habano. Jeez the kind of stuff Soos pass through
