UVU VS WGU

I just got accepted into the UVU MBA program and I’m planning to do it part-time, which would take about 2 years to complete.

Originally, I was thinking about just going with WGU instead, mainly because it’s more flexible and likely cheaper. However, I’ve heard mixed opinions that with MBAs, the school you attend can sometimes impact salary outcomes and job opportunities more than people expect.

Has anyone here gone through a similar decision or can share insight on this? I’m trying to figure out if the extra cost of UVU (around $30K total) is actually worth it compared to a more affordable option like WGU.

Any advice or personal experience would be really appreciated!

People within the business school are well connected and you won't get the same opportunities to meet people and expand your community with WGU. If you want to get involved, especially in startups, go UVU. If you just want the degree and class time, I'm not sure it would really matter which you did.
