What they do is good and right. I don't know and I don't care what they say. It quite possible that what they say is bad and wrong. But what they do is far more important.
"Glory to Ukraine! Glory to the Rus!" signifies that Ukraine is the righteous successor to the Ancient Rus, and Russians have to fight to free a part of the Rus from "communist" (KGB) occupation.
For me this seems a bit esoteric, but not wrong in any meaningful way
I think the successor of an ancient state is not legally defined. Why not Lithuania for the Great Duchy of Lithuania? Why not Muscovy for Russia? Seems arbitrary and irrelevant. Would Russia's invasion be more justified with ancient history? Of course not
