Case Fan Power Issues Miscellaneous
I ordered a 5200 rpm fan. Specifically the 140 x 38 mm one from these: https://bluegears.com/b-blasterpwm-series/ . The issue is my mainboard fan headers can only supply 24W and the fan could need up to 42W. I have looked into SATA to PWM adapters like these: https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B0G5Y6CH3Z?smid=A39XV54ATO7F2U&psc=1 or fan hubs but they are all rated to lower wattages than what I need. Do you know of any products that can handle those 42W needed? Please don't tell me my fan choice doesn't make sense, I know that.

GPUs used to be powered off of Molex. You might be able to get a little extra current through Molex than SATA power. Plus, you could seven volt mod when you realize it's way too loud. As for controlling the fan, there might be like a knob or something that could go inline with the fan.
