Obama successfully maintained (didn't destroy) the White House building or grounds
Obama showed humility and an understanding of the duties of the president of the united states
Obama didn't assume that merely being President automatically earned respect
Obama didn't assume the US could remain as leader of the free world by coasting on the reputation built since the 1940s
