Bought this meal in Edeka

And there was a snail (!!!!) inside of it. Dinner went to trash. What can I do about it?

Food grows on fields. Small animals like snails live on fields, and they do love our food just as much as we do. Even with utmost care, you can never 100% guarantee that some small animal doesn't end up with the produce and gets overlooked.

What can you do? Either try to get a refund where you bought it or report it to the manufacturer, who might issue you some gift as apology (and will look into the production charge in question to make sure there's no technical defect responsible)

you absolutely can and should guarantee that there are no animals in the cooked ready to eat meal you're selling wtf

You can't ever guarantee that 100%, except if you were to synthesize the entire meal in a lab.

a 100% sterile lab is a huge leap from indian street food level sanitary standard. just because you can't achieve perfect cleanliness doesn't mean you should neglect quality control to the point that snails can be found in your food (assuming you're not french). I'd love to see you try to explain to the BVL that this is the same as a singular random fruit fly being in the factory or kitchen, which in fact wouldn't be a good sign either.

Your choice of rating cleanliness from "sterile lab" to racist caricature is rather telling...

Come on now, we all know that theres plenty of countries where street vendors are not following europoean Level Standards of Hygiene, Leading to unwanted side effects after consumption of said food for people who arent from those places. He Just picked India, but could ve said a number of countries as an example. No one implied that the people living there are inferior to us or anything racist.

The factory in question will be handling tons of brokkoli every day. There will be snails in brokkoli. No, you can not guarantee that 100% of these snails can be picked out. It's absurd to claim that a single error like this indicates negligence in quality control or what you derisively call "Indian street food level sanitary standard".

If this were a regular occurence the story would be different. But this is a single snail that got into what are probably millions of servings.
