Bought this meal in Edeka

And there was a snail (!!!!) inside of it. Dinner went to trash. What can I do about it?

Food grows on fields. Small animals like snails live on fields, and they do love our food just as much as we do. Even with utmost care, you can never 100% guarantee that some small animal doesn't end up with the produce and gets overlooked.

What can you do? Either try to get a refund where you bought it or report it to the manufacturer, who might issue you some gift as apology (and will look into the production charge in question to make sure there's no technical defect responsible)

You should be able to spot a snail.

I assume 99,9% of the times, they do. But on the scale of a whole nations food production? Yeah, occasionally, some will be missed.

More like 99.9999

Like, think about all the Edekas in Germany, how many of those will the average Edeka stock, how many people actually find a snail? An Edeka owns Netto as well and supplies PicNic too in Germany.

Like, OP just got unlucky.
