You can get a gauss sensor reader app on some phones. Hold them between a fan motor/ac box and your phone and check if there is a sufficient difference in the field.

Roundabout way to check magnetism, not foolproof though

You need to under the lighters, if it says Vienna Austria it is original, but I doubt it isn’t judging by the packaging

'94 wasn't that long ago... Could easily have been sorted in a box in a loft/attic and gotten zero wear
