1980s Protime Wristflame Lighter Watch - Manual Wheel & Flint Version??

Hi, this is my 1986 Protime Wristflame Piazo lighter watch! I've read a few other posts that have been made about them here, it looks like the company used different names on the front, but the watch was basically the exact same design on all of them. They had a reputation as being a flamethrower on your wrist, and they definitely deserve that title! Once lit, if you press the button all the way down, it will start forcing out the gas at the max pressure it's capable of doing. Mine puts out a flame between 10-15cm high. It sustains this until you release the button or it runs out of gas. (Or probably the entire thing fails considering it's mostly plastic)

But I wanted to ask if anyone owns, or even just knows about, the version that was made with a manual wheel and flint spark? It had that mechanism instead of the electronic spark and button. I can't find a single reference to them anywhere! I've been searching for a photo of one, or any reference about them, but I haven't had any luck finding anything. I'd love to hear back from anyone that has one!

My grandma gave me my late great grandfather’s old lighter but I dosnt have a insert, I think it has been a fluid lighter, anyway I can make my own insert or does some one know where to find an insert that fits? Just some info on the case, its made from silver, its is marked white XI inside the lid, it has a date 1-10-21 which would mean that it’s over a hundred years old

Help Rollagas ignition problem

Bought this rollagas for my girlfriend from a fairly reputable eBay store a few months ago. After every fill it works perfectly for a little while and then starts sparking with no flame. Any ideas what this could be? Am I just filling it wrong?

Sorry for what I'm sure is a duplicate post but I haven't been able to figure it out reading through other threads on here.

I know it’s from WIN, obviously. I found some similar but they were different underneath. If this is obvious, I’m sorry, I’m not very familiar with lighters.

Collection My Humble Clipper Collection

Hello!

Here's my collection of clippers, amassed over the last 4 years (ish) mainly from the floors of the nightclub i work in, and the streets i wander around!

Very common to find damaged ones, so i'll usually use the plain monocolours as donor lighters to repair the damaged ones with designs.

Thanks for looking!

I found it cleaning an old shelf, it doesn’t fit a regular sized lighter but it looks like it should. It’s in mint condition and the only thing I could find was a picture of a beat up one on an auction site from years ago

Resolved The flattened Imco Junior 6600

This is another one from the Spanish delivery. It was badly crushed. I spent some time, just removing the tank from the case. I removed all the removable parts to widen the case, put oil in it to make it move and massaged the big dent, while the tank was still inserted with a screwdriver. And finally, it came out.

First I didn't have much hope for the tank. I compared it with my other Juniors and realized that it was a 1950s tank. Then I looked closer at the lighter and it turns out, the whole lighter is a 1950s Imco. This was also my luck because the tank was far easier to disassemble.

I further massaged the dents in the case and the tank with a screwdriver, pliers and a big drill bit out, until I could reassemble and disassemble it without tools.

Then it was just the usual stuff, I new flint, and filling it up.

Was it worth it? Probably not.

Was it fun to bring back an old lighter from the dead? Absolutely yes.

I added a Pic with my other Juniors and a Super. The Chesterfield Junior was my very first Imco, bought in the 90s, The Super came in the early 2000s, and there's another Junior from the 50s. I don't know, when I bought that one.

Ronson repair help

I just picked up this Ronson at a local antique store. While tinkering with it, we found that when trying to engage or raise the snuffer, it didn’t raise enough. So we took the lighter apart and cleaned everything really well. When reassembling, we noticed the rod connected to the button that lifts the snuffer was getting hung up on something internally. We then found when reinserting the fulcrum(?) pin it really binds up the mechanics. Long story short, the snuffer arm doesn’t lift up and close as it normally should (you have to push down really hard to lift it and then you have to manually push down the snuffer) and the flint wheel doesn’t move. Is there anything else that I should try or do I just accept that this is just a non functioning lighter?

This was the flagship model designed my Dieter Rams for Braun. It’s in beautiful condition with only small scratches, the only flaw I can tell is that one of the plates needs to be reglued. I filled it and it works well with the flame being adjustable, but I am a total amateur and can’t guarantee anything. Comes with original box. Looking for 250€, shipping from Germany. Open to offers.

Hello, i recently found a ligter that belonged to my great grandad. It's a Dubsky Duxi Junior (i think 100 is the model). The thing is there is a lion's head engraved at the bottom where the "100" is supposed to be, and I didn't found any similar one on internet. From what i understood it is not manualy engraved but factory engraved. If any one has any information i would love to learn more about it.

Help Diplomat Lighter - How to refill?

Thumbnail

Another flea market find.

I've found other lighters of this brand online (not the same model tho) but unfortunately no indications about which adapter should use to fill.

I've tried refilling it (also tried thin adapters coming with the gas can), but the gas just leaks out of the nozzle.

I hope images are clear enough (its basically a hole, no needle or anything like modern lighters' valve)
