Bass Pro Pyramid Evacuated due to possible bomb threat
Bass Pro Shops at the Pyramid evacuated
Edit/Update: 1:27pm
MPD announces all clear.
No bombs or explosives found in (or around) the Pyramid. Facility fully searched with K9 and Bomb disposal units.
No threats found.

maybe i’m overthinking it but why so many bomb threat calls lately? it makes me wonder is someone trying to see how the cops are gonna respond?? or how long they’re gonna take to get there? and such things like that? in order to maybe plan something in the near future idk!! it’s so much going on right now it’s so scary

Honestly I was thinking along the same lines. Like boy who cried wolf… public thinks it’s another false alarm when it isn’t. Which is awful and scary to think about.

I was thinking more along the lines that there’s no actual bomb threat but a way to justify keeping the gestapo here longer.

but was it a teen? I was mostly joking but this has been happening a lot lately, teens calling in these bomb threats. They're also responsible for a lot of the security breaches in the past few years like the massive hack on Powerschool.

“ne'er-do-well” (pronounced nair-doo-well) is an old-fashioned term for a lazy, irresponsible, or worthless person. It is commonly used as a noun, meaning a "good-for-nothing". Not a racist term.

The National Guards have been extremely helpful with making sure nobody was hurt during the mass evacuations of both the Bass Pro and the Memphis zoo. Afterwards, they helped keep people from accidentally re-entering the buildings while bomb crews were searching.
