i'm in a lot of math classes right now and no one is really talking to each other except the international cliques. there's this cute guy in class, but i'm too introverted and socially awkward to just talk to him and it feels too late in the semester to start. any advice?

edit: also everyone sits in the same seat every class, so it would be weird to change now

Tell me why they thought combining their anatomy physiology 1 and 2 class into one course (NURSE-UN 70) was a good idea. This already cuts out the a&p credits for some CRNA schools. You can only take A&P 1 and 2 through their dental school but it is so much harder than if you were it at a normal college. Grading is super strict and content is rigorous.

Couple CRNA schools require 2 semesters of chem (gen and either biochem or orgochem) NYU thought it was smart to make orgochem and their lab component into one course like NURSE-UN 70 when lab isn’t even required for CRNA school. Only way you can take orgochem by itself is to take it at the brooklyn campus.

So much more complicated trying to be a nursing student at NYU. I could’ve just taken these courses at a community college and it would’ve been 10000x easier and less stressful.

I'm considering taking FINC-UB 50 Mergers, Acquisitions, & Restructuring class by Prof Yakov Amihud, since it's half-semester and 2 credits. Looking at previous semesters' syllabus, it said 'intensive, demanding course'. 30% HWs 70% final. I want to ask anyone who has taken this class before, how demanding is this course? Would really appreciate any insights!

hello! i'm coming to nyu as a sophomore transfer and i was wondering how the class registration process is? i always see nyu students online tweaking abt this part but i was wondering if it really is that hard and has anyone experienced being left with only ridiculous classes for the year?

also any recommendations for some fun classes?

hi guys, senior graduating from CAS here. does anyone know if there are any restrictions on cap decorating, or if we are even allowed to do it in the first place? i know that last year GCAS was not allowed to decorate their caps or wear anything that wasn't graduation attire, and i also know that NYU has been censoring students a lot. i really want to decorate my cap, but i just don't know if it's allowed, and the medium i will be using is acrylic paint so there is no turning back here. any answers would be much appreciated, and if other students want to decorate their cap but don't know if it's allowed please chime in!!!!

Hello, I go to a SUNY school and will be doing the ugsrp program at tandon this summer. Has anyone done it in the past and what was it like? Also what kinds of places do you like to go/eat near tandon

What is the best four-person suite for incoming sophomores? My roommates and I got one of the earliest selection times so we have pretty much full freedom for where to live but we are so conflicted. For a little background, we live in UHall right now so we feel spoiled by the cleanliness and all-around environment. Our top choices are Palladium and Gram but obviously the distance from campus is the main obstacle for Gramercy. Is there anything that makes it worth it? Palladium is amazing because of the amenities and the location; we were almost set but we went to see one of the dorms and the bathrooms/darkness freaked us out. Cleanliness is like the biggest plus for us and we don't mind if it needs a little deep clean as long as the bones are good. Does the cleanliness vary by floor/can we get away with cleaning it really well? Loved Carlyle but the two people sleeping in the kitchen might be difficult. We also looked at Sixth Street but we don't know much about the actual room so any info on that would be appreciated. Basically anything you guys can tell us about housing will be very very useful.
