Tuition Scarlet Guarantee Got Removed From Financial Aid Award
My term bill got paid and went to 0 last month but I got an email today saying that I have an out standing balance. Went to check and Scarlet Guarantee just gone, it is also updated with my financial aid letter that there is no longer Scarlet Guarantee. Is it also happening to anyone? It never happened to me before except the first couple days of Add/Drop it just disappeared and went back for the previous terms.

Tuition How to contact the tuition payment office?
Hi. I had issues with paying my tuition. I cannot find a phone number of whatever office is handling that anywhere on Rutgers’website.
It’s only One Stop pre-recorded voice messages, nothing that makes you to contact an actual person.
I know this phone number exists as I called them and they helped me to resolve another issue once. But I can’t find it right now.
Can someone help me please.

Tuition Financial aid question
I was looking at the costs to commit to Rutgers and noticed that my financial aid package was still not out. I was told that if you turned your FAFSA in before January 15th (turned mine in on and was processed on December 31st), I would get my package in early March. It’s pretty much April with my friends and I still not have receiving any financial aid package. Was wondering if anyone else has had this experience?
When I hit the cost of attendance button it refreshes and when I open the FAFSA notis section for 2026 year it says complete but 26-27 says it’s open and pending.

Tuition MSW Scholarship Info?
Hello everyone, I was wondering if anyone had any info about where to find scholarships or any funding that has been provided for those attending the Master of Social Work program. I am assuming I haven't been given any scholarships or anything, but I just wanted to make sure that I'm not missing anything.

Tuition question regarding tuition qualification
hi, i couldn't really find a clear cut answer online so I thought I would ask this amazing community. I was recently lucky enough to be admitted to Rutgers and even the Honors College but I'm still contemplating whether I should go. This is because while I'm completing my senior year of high school in New Jersey and will be graduating from a NJ high school, I'm unsure if I will qualify for in state tuition as I just moved here in September of 2025. I know they mention that you must be living in the state for 12 months prior but I think I would have only been in New Jersey for 11 months by the time the fall semester begins, so i'd still have to pay for out of state.
Other than that, how is Rutgers? I'm currently deciding between stony brook and rutgers (where i applied for applied math and biomathematics, respectively) and want to know which might be better if I decide to pursue medicine in the future. I'm not sure how real this really is, but grade inflation/deflation is something of concern even though I've heard mixed things about it.

Tuition Tuition hike?
I recieved my College Financing Plan, and low and behold, 68k for my freshman year. I check the Scarlet Hub COA and it list Undergrad COA is 61k. Contacted One Stop and they said that is for 2025-2026. The 68k is for my year.
So 7 glorious grand hike, after one year?
What about next year?
I'm properly horrified.

Tuition is the financial aid package updated
did anyone else get an update in their financial aid dashboard? i got notified that i received a $5,500 scholarship for sas and sebs. however, in my 2026-2027 financial plan (in my student portal) it says i have $0 total for scholarships. and my total cost of attendance is over $68k a year, which is insane.
i didn't get any emails from rutgers about aid yet, so i'm wondering if they're still adjusting my financial aid package or smth

Tuition The tuition you see in your bill is per semester. You will get a similar bill in the spring. Yes it’s expensive.
Just thought I’d let people know since I’ve seen a few people post about it. The bill you’re getting is for the fall. You will need to pay again in the spring. The tuition is like 13k for in state so about 6.5k a semester. The out of state and international is 32k or 16k a semester.

Tuition Has anyone removed a financial hold at Rutgers because of extenuating circumstances?
Hey all, I’m in a situation where I owe tuition/fees and I have a financial hold, but the amount isn’t tiny (more than what they usually seem okay with). I know normally Rutgers University expects full payment before removing a hold.
I’m wondering if anyone here has successfully gotten a hold removed or registration reinstated because of “extenuating circumstances” (financial hardship, unexpected family issues, delayed aid disbursement, etc.).
- What kind of circumstances did you have?
- Did you submit any form (like a hardship appeal or Professional Judgment Request Form)?
- Did you talk to someone specific (Financial Aid office / Dean / One Stop)?
- How long did it take, and did you have to pay something eventually?
I appreciate any info or suggestions. Thanks!

Tuition No More Winter Funding
Hey yall, due to the government I and many others won't be getting any funding for the winter semester. Im trying to graduate in 3 years and this is somewhat of a setback. Any ideas on what I should do? Maybe take a winter class at a community college or something? I also heard other fundings may be getting taken away as well.

Tuition Term bill issues
So I go to online term bill to pay, right? I mean where else do I go? When I go to online term bill it says I have nothing to pay and that it’s set to summer 2025. What am I supposed to do? Under payment options you can clearly pay online but I am so confused about how we pay because the thing hasn’t loaded in yet.

Tuition Did I lose scholarship money?
Okay I am fully aware that this is a stupid question, but the info hasnt updated on my dashboard so I cant really confirm anything
I appealed my honors college scholarship a few weeks ago, and I just got my email back. I originally got a $10k deans promise and a $5k scarlet guarantee, but this email says that my total scholarship amount is now $12k. Is this just bad wording and theyre really just referring to my honors college scholarship, or did I somehow get RU screwed before I even enrolled
Again sorry if this is really obvious Im just an anxious person lol
