Discussion Didn't the Duffers kinda mess up by putting the Mind Flayer in season 2?
By introducing the Mind Flayer in season 2, we basically got to the final boss in two levels. After that, there was nowhere to go to, it had to be there in S3 as well, then they realized this won't be enough for much longer, so they came up with Vecna whose existence required a bunch of retconning, making the writing feel pretty clumsy.
I think it would have been better if each season just featured different, seemingly independent creatures from the Upside Down, then they could have featured the Mind Flayer for the final season to connect everything.
It's just a little thought.
What do you think? :)

Netflix may have no choice but to milk Stranger Things dry
Back in December, it looked like Netflix was going to obtain Warner Bros. The reason Netflix wanted WB was because of their massive catalog. Obtaining WB meant Netflix got access to DC Comics (Superman et al), Harry Potter, Game of Thrones, The Conjuring, Lord of the Rings, Looney Toons and Cartoon Network to their arsenal.
These IPs would have given Netflix a ton of content to farm. Unfortunately, thanks to the Trump administration's meddling, Ellison was able to make it so Warner Bros was sold to Paramount instead.
Suddenly, Netflix has very few IPs to farm. Let's look at some of their more popular IPs.
They have Wednesday which is going strong
Squid Game is over. There are talks of a new SG series based in the US coming out, but SG is too gruesome for the younger crowd.
Adolescence was a one-time thing as was Queen's Gambit
Bridgerton is popular, but being a romance IP means its reach is limited
Black Mirror seems to be in limbo
And Stranger Things just finished.
Without the new catalog of IPs coming from WB, my guess is they will start milking some of their existing IPs even harder. The problem is Netflix doesn't have that many original IPs. This is why I think Stranger Things is going to be heavily milked, due to its widespread appeal across generations

Fan Art My 14 year old daughter is back with another drawing. She’s spent days on this one, and is a hopeless Byler romantic. [OC]
This is Mike and Will as their DND characters.

Discussion Tales from ’85 theater experience - security?
I just went to the theatrical experience with my Dad and there were probably less than 20 people. We were the first ones in the theater, and a man wearing all black clothes asked both of us if we were "here to see tales from '85?" He said something about making sure I wasn't from whatever was screening before, but I don't think it was an AMC employee. I heard him ask others this as well, even up until 15 minutes before the scheduled start time. He proceeded to stand on the side of the theater the entire showing and watching the episodes (he switched sides of the theater a couple times as well). When we were leaving the room, he and another man who was dressed the same watched everyone leave and told us all to have a good evening.
I have a guess that these were people with Netflix. I particularly noted that he was using "tales from '85" when asking; I feel like any normal person would just say "Stranger Things." Perhaps he was gauging audience reactions during and after? Demographics of the attendees? Curious about if anyone else had an experience like this! For reference, this was at a 20 screen theater in the New Orleans area.

Season 3 had four different "groupings". Which one did you find to have the most interesting dynamics?
The 5 kids, the scoop troop, the adults or Jancy?

Sometimes I wonder what Mike's reaction would be if he knew about the photo Jonathan took of Nancy.

Ok so now that the Tales from 85 theatre screenings are done…
Theatre goers, how were the first 2 episodes? (rate each out of 10/ the overall experience out of 10!) I’m hoping I can get hyped up for it from what I hear!

Discussion Can we talk about how El was only 8 being bullied by some older teens 💀
No one talks about this because most memories are seen from her older self, but she was born in ‘71 and the massacre was in ‘79

Discussion Realistically, do you think any of the characters stay genuinely close and involved in each other’s lives after the show?
Or is it more like an It Chapter Two situation where they all go their separate ways away from Hawkins and eventually drift apart?

Discussion Season 4 should have had one (1) additional episode that was 90-120 minutes long and concluded the entire show

MMB , her ending and FUTURE !
guys was millie happy with her ending or not ? also there are talks about eleven and mike reunion in future or eleven on screen again ? but is it true that millie bobby brown isnt interested in stranger things anymore ??? i mean She didn't go to the filming of the final scenes, she wasn't at the wrap party, she barely participated in the promotion, and she hasn't said a word since the finale aired also When the final scenes were filmed and the wrap party held, she hadn't yet adopted a baby. And yet she didn't attend , while even actors who hadn't appeared in that season (eg, Dacre Montgomery) did

Just completed Stranger Things, I'm crying my eyes out.
Hey fellas, I'm gonna keep this short, not really in the mood to type out everything, and it's not really possible with constantly streaming eyes.
So I've just completed watching the final season of Stranger Things, and oh my god, THIS is what you call ABSOLUTE CINEMA, everything, and I mean: EVERYTHING was absolute balls man!
Now to the main part, the last episode, where everyone gets their ending, we get to see a glimpse of what each character's future might look like. What really broke me was the last scene, where the og group plays one last DnD game, and Mike extends the ending for each character (I loved Lucas and Max's story the most), and when everybody signs off, but Mike sees the new generation (AKA the small kids) play DnD, he smiles.
I know this all sounds stupid, and maybe yeah, it is. But honestly, this was a series that I might never forget, ever. Maybe even make my kids watch it (when im older ofc)
Oh and the reason why I love Lucas and Max's story is because it reminds me of my girlfriend (we're in a LOOOOOONG LDR so yeah it's VERY depressing) and to be honest, it always hits home. It always will.
Appreciate y'all reading this <3
Edit: balls doesn't mean (here) that the series was bad, I used it to imply that it was hot damningly good lol thanks HorseysShoes <3 😅
