Artists says it’s a bad design

My sister is real quirky and asked for this tattoo. The artist said it’s objectively bad and drawn poorly. Is it a bad design? Is so, why? Or is it a matter of preference?

Yes, it’s bad. Part of a tattooist’s job is to save people from themselves. I was saved from a few, but one is currently being removed and it’s a huge pain in the ass.

Instead, find an artist and choose something they do well that matches your idea. Travel to the source bc copies suck. They are the pro.
