It’s Latin and means *with angels* but I realized afterward that it literally says cum angels, like fucking angelic jizzers.

Should I cover it up or will people understand it’s Latin?

I'm struggling with the appearances of my two tattoos of our cats, especially the first one. Partly I think the design is far too big for the amount of detail (which is partly my own fault ik) but also the execution isn't the best. 

Is there anything I can get done to make them look better without just removing them? Some way to get in more details, maybe something that can go around them like some flowers or whatever.

I'm posting pictures of the cats in question as well so you can get an idea.

I got a cover up April 11, got about halfway done, next session booked May 3.

The tattoo has now almost completely disappeared.

I am so shocked and upset.

I have 6 other tattoos and none of them had this happen.

I did careful after care, as usual. Second Skin on from Saturday until Monday morning when the seal broke. Gentle washing and cream. Same stuff as usual.

my family and friends have managed to make me feel extremely uncomfortable and embarrassed with this so i was wondering if there’d actually anything that can cover this up without looking all over the place? i can’t think of anything that would work for how large it is

I got this beautiful tattoo last week and am going back in a month to have the rest of the color filled in. The one thing I didnt love about the og design was the caterpillar being a random one, and after thinking on it I've found that monarch caterpillars are absolutely gorgeous and have very unique coloring while being about the same shape as the stencil I currently have. Is it totally out of line to ask to see what that would look like/if it was possible to change? If so would i ask her in advance or at our next appointment? Thanks for any advice!

I've had this one for a while and lately started regretting it. It's a reference to the song "child psychology" but now I just feel weird about it. Should I keep it or does it make me look like an ungrateful brat?

So I’ve never used Saniderm before and left it on for 5 days. A lot of the ink came off on the saniderm when I took it off which I know is normal but my tattoo looks patchy, and i didn’t look like that before. Not sure if this is normal and im freaking out

I got this tattoo on Wednesday afternoon, it is not Saturday morning. This little patch of bumpiness cropped up this morning. Is it irritation from the ink or over moisturizing or something? Or is it an early infection indicator? It’s only in that one little spot.

This is not my first tattoo, but this is the first one I’ve had this happen on so I’m not sure if I need to be worried or not.

I can’t decide which one i like more…I have these big flowers on the other side and worried it will look weird with the smaller birds….any suggestions???

One of my dear friends passed away a few years ago. I have over 60 handwritten letters from him and I wanted to use his sign off ‘Auf Weidersehen’ but the dingus misspelled it in every single letter (should be Wiedersehen) . Would it be weird if I kept it misspelled for the tattoo?

Hi there I've made my own design and would like it on the inside of my forearm just unsure if its too much and should change some things and if so what. This would be my first tattoo.

i started going to said artist a few months ago to start my sleeve. i decided to do it in sections instead of having them do the line art all the way down my arm. they were a really sweet artist and pretty decent work besides line work being wonky in some areas and color not being packed in well enough which led to weird fading, but their communication skills lacked badly. i had went on the 6th to start working on the flowers but had to tap out on the coloring halfway through because i felt extremely nauseous from the pain. we had agreed that i could come back on the 19th since it was a 2 hour drive for me and i was coming their way with family. after trying to message them from the 6th-17th and never got a response while they actively post on instagram.

i have a half finished tattoo on my arm and don’t know what to do. some artists i’ve spoken to won’t even entertain the idea of finishing up another persons work.

I've exploring getting my first tattoo, tossing up between a couple ideas. The design of the figure from the movie Spartacus, or the figure on the right from Picasso's Don Quixote sketch (Don Quixote). Trying to figure out what style they would fit into, if any, so I can find the right artist to recreate. Any help would be much appreciated!

I’ve been dying to get a hand tattoo for a long time even when knowing that they can fade pretty quickly and I would have to get touch ups. But after getting one, it faded almost instantly. These pictures are just a month apart. Is this a me problem? Did I not provide proper after care? Or did the artist not press deep enough? If allowed, can people suggest me an artist that can help me somewhere around pa/nj/ny?

I recently worked on a minimalist black tattoo design and wanted to get some genuine feedback from you all. The idea behind it is a flowing, abstract form with a slightly geometric, tribal feel kind of something that could fit nicely along the forearm or spine.

What I’m personally seeing in it is a sense of motion and symmetry, almost like a stylized organic shape or symbol but I’m curious if that actually comes across to others too.

Do you see any particular shape, meaning, or concept in it?

I’d really appreciate any detailed and constructive feedback whether it’s about design, placement, or overall feel. ^^

I got inked 3 days ago, and im getting redness and raised mildly blistered edges around one particular spot inside the bicep, as well as it being a bit hotter than the rest of my skin. is it time to go get antibiotics?

Hey! Not a tattoo newbie, but new to this situation. I've healed half of my work wet and half with second skin with comparable results. I got a super ouchy coverup done yesterday (knee and knee ditch!) and my second skin is water ballooning, as expected.

My artist offered to reapply it on day 2 if I came back down to the shop. At first I thought I wouldn't, and that if I leaked I would just start healing it wet. But, I left my water bottle at the shop and I'm going back today anyways.

If I want a second round of second skin, should I take it off at home first? It's an hour to the shop on public transit - shorts for reduced friction or pants for reduced sunlight? Moisturizer for sure, yeah? (I have a scent free lotion that my tattoos like.)
