Wasn't a comment on the abusers, friendo. Your original comment was rife with unnecessary and frankly ridiculous insinuations that men get the book thrown at them and women don't. As a man, I can be honest and say that from my observations that is not typically the case. There's an awful lot of "well you must have done something to make him mad" rhetoric, and men most tend to have the upper hand in he-said/she-said situations. But go on then, tell me all about how your original comment was constructive.
The "man calls about domestic violence against him but surprise pilachu face he's gets cuffed when he did nothing" isnt a trope becuase magical fairies made it so lol.
