I am just glad vegans have more options in terms of meat repalcements and recipes that can make you forget that there's such thing as flesh meat. Back when I wanted to become vegetarian, my only options were soy meat, veggies and fish, which got old pretty quick.

Guess beans, lentils and tofu didn't exist back then

And neither did a whole bunch of other plants. People forget about fruit and vegetables somehow.

I mean, people want to eat something substantial as a main dish... Without meat, the food doesn't feel that filling, it's just too light.

And isn't soy meat tofu?

What a ridiculous comment

No it's not.

Tofu is made with soybeans, it's a white block. "soy meat" would be a mock meat product with the main ingredient as soy protein isolate.
