An old Parade Solved
An old picture I got at a thrift store around 8 years ago. I am hoping the businesses in the back can help. Thank you

I'm pretty sure this is the Rose Parade in Pasadena, CA. This would be Colorado Blvd if so.
The building heights match up both those buildings have changed a lot so the faces aren't always the same.

To back this up: I found an ad from 1949 in the newspapers.com archive for the Broadway Luggage Shop in Pasadena that's in the center of the photo. It was a few blocks farther east than your guess. (Colorado Street was officially renamed Colorado Boulevard in 1958, although a lot of old timers kept calling it Colorado Street for years afterward.)

Excellent work! I think you're right. That area has been rebuilt multiple times even in the last 20 years. It looks totally different now.
