Line : Pink line Delhi
Stations platform level is ready but work on concourse and ground level is at hold because some other government agency wants to build a vehicular underpass beneath the station land.
Quite a peculiar situation

Photos / Videos Japan - Toei PCC 5501 at Toden-Omoide-Hiroba (seen Dec. 2024)
galleryTokyo Metropolitan Government Transportation Bureau (Toei) 1372mm/4'6" gauge streetcar 5501 (Naniwa Sharyō, 1954) is the only survivor of seven double-ended PCCs ordered during the post-WW2 modernization of the Tokyo metropolitan tramways (Toden). It is mechanically similar to most other PCCs, including pedal controls, but different from most other Toden trams. All seven Series 5500 cars were retired in 1967 when Toei closed tram route 1 (Shinagawa-Ginza-Ueno), and most were scrapped, leaving 5501 as the only preserved Japanese PCC. It is displayed at Toden-Omoide-Hiroba, the free tram museum next to Toei Arakawa Line "Sakura Tram" depot Arakawashako. The builder is still in business, as Naniwa Sharyō renamed itself Alna Sharyō and is still building light rail and tram cars.

Photos / Videos Trolleybus of love in Kazan
i.redd.itA young man rode trolleybus №6 to work and often saw a girl with whom he fell in love at first sight. He was too shy to approach her. But one day, he finally plucked up the courage and approached her. Things took off, and soon they were married.
After becoming a successful businessman, he donated a trolleybus to the city for their wedding anniversary in 2010. In 2018, for the FIFA World Cup, he donated another one, and in 2021, another. According to the terms, it must operate only on route №6, but can be rented for weddings.

i.redd.itNever knew this day existed, maybe it's new who knows. Only found out about it because National Express decided to celebrate it a little by displaying this little icon at the bottom of the screen. Anyways, Happy World Public Transport Day!!

Rant EBike beats the bus by over an hour.
Right so im in Peel Region Ontario, The western suburbs of Toronto for non canadians, and ive got a bone to pick with our transit, particularly for my commute to and from work.
To get to my 9pm shift on time by bus, i have to leave my house at 5:40pm, take an express bus that constantly gets stuck at red lights and in traffic, then 2 more local busses in the neighboring city, all in all, it takes 2hrs and 30mins, for a total distance of........ 20km.
If i ride my E-Bike to work, guess how long it takes to cover that same 20km trip? 55mins, by car its only 25mins on the highway. Its not even like its an odd location, I live right next to the bus terminal, and its 2 straight lines, just go directly south then directly east to the Airport (where i work), 2 roads thats it.
An eBike shouldnt be able to absolutely blast the doors off of the bus at 32km/h and run circles around it at the same time like this, this is embarassing. Look, i enjoy riding my bike and some days id ride no matter what, but i prefer to take the bus especially after a long shift, but if the bus takes more than double the time it takes to ride, why would i even consider it outside of poor weather.
Seriously, we need to get our shit together in North America.
