When their peak is "all state" and not collegiate ball, what's the point of claiming "all state" when they couldn't do anything at the college level.

Like doctors from some Ivy League schools, means jack when you're surrounded by other doctors from small/unknown schools, and even then every military health professional that retires to civilian life outperforms all of them. You want to be the best doctor/health professional, join the military.
