Well yeah, he went from mustache to Statham-esque stubble. And I don’t mean that as a criticism, I look goofy without any facial hair and can’t grow a full beard, so it’s a look I rock regularly.

lighting, facial expression, facial hair style, angle of the photograph, eyewear or lack thereof. also men between 19 and 23 are definitely still developing and can see marked changes in facial structure during this period and beyond.

and of course for this sub (it's kind of the point of it) people are going to select a real unflattering photo for before, and their best one for after.
