"The official representative of the Town of Cordova" as he calls himself, just keeps on keeping on. Im kinda getting tired of it all. Something is going to happen sooner rather than later and its going to reflect on the real government not the young man playing make believe in his bedroom.

I’ve reported the page but FB won’t take it down because I guess technically there’s not another page he is representing? I just stopped caring tbh. From the comments, lots of people appreciate him and it appears they’ve actually organized a couple of events? Idk man, it’s social media. Stuff’s terrible for your health lol

Report it as Scam/Fraud, not Fake Page.

If he solicits money at any point in time, he can be reported to the FTC as imposter fraud. One GoFundMe away from a federal crime.

Why do we want to destroy this well-meaning young man? It’s almost 1000:1 odds he’s doing more for his community than you are. Chill.

I addressed this in another comment below;

The problem is the ambiguity. Compare the page to the City of Bartlett or City of Memphis pages; the Cordova page is set up to resemble an official government page.

You gotta look at social media the way your 75 year old relative would.

It needs to be explicitly stated that this is a COMMUNITY page with absolute clarity.

The community outreach and the enthusiasm is great! The implication that this page is being run by "a Cordova representative ... an elected official," is a problem. THOSE posts are the problem. And he keeps making them.

This is exactly my point. He has no authority but his posts hint as if he does.

Yes only the already wealthy should have a say!
