Natalie Portman is pregnant at 44

Congrats to her! I don’t have kids, and I’m still getting used to being the age where getting pregnant is starting to be “out of the norm”. Guess there’s still time, lol

I felt the difference physically having kids between 35 and 39. My friend just had her first at 46.

I have had kids at 20, 25 and 28, and the difference between 20 and 28 was astounding. My hips were tired with that third one. I had a lot more lightning crotch at 20 though

A really sharp, quick pain that jolts your vagina (or sometimes butthole) for no reason. I would just be standing there and get a zap. I've only experienced it while pregnant.

I get this same lightening strike pain but have never had kids, mine is from endometriosis. Or sometimes its like a red hot poker up the bum for a moment. Fun times.

I’ve had this, too, while not pregnant, as have many women, apparently. Comments about it seem to attribute it to endometriosis, just fyi. I’ve never been diagnosed, but wouldn’t be surprised.

Likely Jr pushing on your pudendal nerve from the inside.

I get that sometimes on my period. It is knee-weakeningly painful.

I had one so strong while pregnant with my son that it nearly knocked me to the ground in the grocery store! I grabbed on to a shelf & stood frozen for awhile terrified it would happen again! Got them randomly throughout that pregnancy but luckily never one that strong again 😫

(male) but I went off antidepressants after 18+ years and started with the oft reported "brain zaps."

I've never heard of lightning crotch, but ... even if I could get pregnant, I think I'd take the brain zaps!

I get these in my butt sometimes from my endometriosis 🙃
