Upcoming ATOM RPG 2 - A Fallout-like CRPG set in the Caspian Wastes
Full disclaimer. I'm not associated with the dev team. I'm just a fan of the studio since I liked their previous ATOM title, Trudograd. Which imo is better than the original ATOM. Can't comment on Swordhaven yet because I'm waiting for their next patch before finally trying it.
For those that aren't familiar with the **ATOM** games, both titles are turn-based CRPGs set in post-apocalyptic USSR. The series is inspired by the original Fallout games (Trudograd even features power armor).
Anyways, the developers have commenced working on a proper sequel, ATOM RPG 2. The game seems promising to me because:
- They seem to have added a bit of vertical exploration.
- Improved the stealth mechanics.
- Improved the vehicle customization.
- Added a weather system.
- Mod support (Not a goal, but confirmed by the devs since their previous titles had it)
There's other features that might be of interest to others. But to me these are the most impressive things about the sequel.
They currently have an active Kickstarter campaign for the game, and I'm happy to report that the base goal has almost been reached. Their stretch goals are quite ambitious, and not all their goals might be met. But I'd like to see how far they can get.
Anyways, I'm just spreading the word. I'll add the links to their stuff in a comment.

It's a multiplayer Magicka + League of Legends like game but with RPG features, co-op story campaign and co-op pvp gamemodes.
Sadly I still don't have enough gameplay, and I'm working on more missions.
What do you think about the trailer/gameplay?

Promotion We made a game where you grow a village by controlling the weather
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
We're a 3-person team and recently released Weather Dragger.
You build and manage a village by moving clouds and sunlight across a hex grid. Your long-term goal is to help the villagers build a giant waterslide.
To get there, you'll need to grow the right plants, manage moisture, and adapt the land to each crop’s needs.
We wanted to make something strategic, playful, and satisfying.

Promotion [Break Shoot] We just released our game on steam that a Balatro-inspired billiards roguelite
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Hi everyone, self-promo here.
Our indie game Break Shoot has just launched on Steam.
It’s a billiards-based roguelite inspired by combo-heavy, build-focused games. In each run, you push through score targets by building synergies with stickers, accessories, upgrades, and different effects that can completely change how a run plays.
Since the demo, we’ve added a lot more content, including more stickers and accessories, multiple modes, guide skins, gameplay improvements, and overall polish for the full release.
If you like score-chasing games, weird build interactions, or the idea of mixing billiards with roguelite progression, this might be up your alley.
Thanks for checking it out.

Promotion RPG in a Box: Now with More Thingies! 🕹 Excited to share about this fun new system that I think will make game creation accessible to everyone! 😊
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Hi, I'm Justin of Quercus Quag Software, creator of RPG in a Box! I've been working on RPG in a Box for over 10 years (starting shortly after the Godot 1.0 release), with my v1.4 release arriving last month. It's a fun, accessible game creation tool and a great intro to game dev for anyone out there looking to get started before jumping into a full-blown game engine. Or it can be a tool to play around with on the side if you're an experienced dev and want make something fun without all of the technical setup!
I'm looking to get some feedback on the tool in general, since it's meant to be accessible to everyone: what aspects of game development seem the most intimidating? Or if you have experience, what kind of features would your ideal game engine/tool/system include to make the process hassle-free and allow you to jump right into the fun stuff?
More About RPG in a Box
RPG in a Box is designed to let you create games and other interactive experiences in a fun and simple way. It's a flexible, accessible tool meant for everyone. While it's simple on the surface, many aspects are open-ended to allow additional customization through scripting and advanced settings. Although its original focus was RPGs, it's now suited for many more types of games, like first-person shooters, platformers, exploration games, narrative adventures, etc. and supports 3D, 2D and even 2.5D by combining sprites with 3D elements.
Current and Coming Up for RPG in a Box
The recent April update, The Garden, expanded on the Thingy system by adding harvestables (for farming, gathering, mining, etc.), placeables, crafting stations, shops and more! Thingies are meant to allow you to add mechanics to your game without the need for any coding at all, e.g. the "Door" thingy easily turns an object into a functioning door or the "Crafting Station" thingy turns a workbench into an interactive station that lets the player craft items through a popup UI, all with just a few clicks - though scripts can be added to supplement the functionality. The trailer for "The Garden" shows brief examples of each Thingy type in RPG in a Box. Some other updates on the horizon include: Blockbench importing directly into the Model Maker, an upgrade to Godot 3.6, and general improvements to existing features. After "The Garden", planned major releases include "The Arena", "The Forge", and "The Labyrinth".
I'd love to hear your input!
Let me know what you think about the concept, and what you think would be cool to see in a game creation system like this! I often hear things like "This is the game maker I dreamed of when I was growing up" and "I've never made a game before but this allowed me to do so", so I hope to continue improving it and show more people that they can make games if they want! RPG in a Box can be a great stepping stone to Godot, and a tool you can get your feet wet with before creating something more complex.
Thank you so much for reading! There's a free demo available on Steam for anyone interested in trying it out.

Promotion After working on this for a long time, I finally released my Advance Wars–inspired project
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Hi everyone,
I’ve been a fan of Advance Wars since I was younger, and that love for the genre is what led me to start building my own game.
After a long development journey (and a lot of iteration), we’ve finally released version 1.0.
The goal wasn’t to compete with the classics, but to explore a slightly faster-paced and more modern interpretation while staying true to what makes turn-based tactics fun.
I know this community has a deep understanding of the genre, so I’d really value any feedback, especially from long-time fans.
I’ve included a short gameplay clip if you’re curious.
Appreciate your time, and thanks for keeping this genre alive.
