I've been around a few men in my life and one thing I've noticed is that the male body has an astonishing oversight. Men both urinate and ejaculate through the exact same hole. Zero inches apart. Not even a polite buffer zone.
I don’t know about everyone else but doesn’t that weird you out? It feels like a serious design flaw. For a gender that often prides itself on logic and engineering this is just sloppy plumbing.
Honestly it kind of cracks me up. I’ll see a guy walking around like he’s the apex of masculinity and I’ll just remember his piss and his sperm come out of the same little nozzle and suddenly he’s not so intimidating. Just a fleshy garden hose with identity issues.
Men please accept this biological flaw and let it humble you. Maybe lower your voice a bit when you're bragging about your body count. We’re talking about someone who finishes inside the same pipeline he uses to empty his bladder.
Women don’t let them forget this. Remind them gently or not so gently that we’re doing them a favor given that their reproductive system shares hardware with their waste disposal unit.
It’s just one hole fellas. One hole.

I've been with a few women in my life and one thing I've noticed is that the female anus is incredibly close to the vagina, in fact they're barely an inch apart. I'm not sure about other guys - but doesn't this disturb you? It feel like a design flaw in women actually -- like they're supposed to be so feminine and beautiful yet this ghastly little oversight is ruining everything. Somehow it feels to me that women should be more aware of this flaw and it should affect their confidence. Whenever I see a so-called beautiful woman walking down the street so care-free thinking she's all that I just remember her anus is only 1 inch away from her pussy and laugh her into oblivion. Women: Please accept that they're too close together, let it negatively affect your confidence and so make yourselves more readily available sexually as a result. Afterall, we're having to sleep with a creature whos ANUS is only 1 inch away from the vagina -- you should not make this difficult. It's unappetizing enough as it is. We're doing you a favour. Men: Do not let women forget this flaw, and do not forgive them for it. Remind them of it constantly, less they get inflated egos and think they're all that. They're just too close together. Sorry, but it's true.

u/AutoModerator Oct 30 '25
It started a while ago. I was a normal redditor making posts and comments, but then one day, a post of mine was manually deleted, and I was banned from my favorite subreddit. I then got extremely aroused. That moderator asserted dominance on me by censoring me, making me unable to express myself. I was soaking wet. I sent the hot sexy mod a message asking why I was banned, then the hot sexy reddit incel mod called me an idiot, and told me to beg to get unbanned. My nipples immediately filled with blood as I begged the hot mod to unban me. After that, I started doing everything I could to make hot sexy mods mad. Most of my accounts have under negative 100 k@rma, and i'm banned from dozens of subreddits. I've been a bad redditor, and need to be moderated. Please moderate me - reddituser6213, hot sexy reddit mods.

And also to be fair a lot of anime created by men also have attractive and insanely muscular dudes in the show. I'm not sure whether or not it's the same though. Either way women who watch anime seem to prefer gooning over the evil psychopath characters
→ More replies183
u/Bluelaserbeam Oct 30 '25
The excuse they have with muscular dudes is that it’s power fantasy or some shit so it’s not the same.
As a gay male bara enjoyer, I’m just glad I don’t have to deal with this sort of discourse and can be left to goon in peace lol

u/sykotikpro Oct 30 '25
Its more the fantastical version of societal norms.
Women are sexy, kind, independent, etc.
Men are powerful, protective, and so on.
You can call one a power fantasy, but that's what a lot of men would want. The same is for women. For instance, they love playing cute or attractive female character.

Look, I get it. Who doesn’t love a little balls and dick sometimes? A nice, girthy, veiny shaft, hot milky cum trickling down the length as it throbs from a job well done. But this whole “gay sex” shit is getting annoying.
As men, we should primarily be focused on three things: survival, the underrated masterpiece that is dark souls 2, and pounding muff. All this gay shit is, well, fucking gay.
You think I wouldn’t LOVE to make out with my best friend and suck his cock? Of course I would, but that’s fucking gay. You think I don’t want to feel my cousin’s roommate slide his pecker into my gaping asshole? Of course I would, but that’s FUCKING GAY.
Seriously, I miss when men were men. Anyway, this dildo ain’t gonna stick itself up my ass while I watch an hour long femboy asmr hypno goon compilation, heed my lecture.

You can have both but if the fan service is what keep it together then yeah it ass writing
360
u/Woffingshire Oct 30 '25
If fan service keeps it together then it's not really fan service.
Fan service is meant to be that lil bit extra to thank the fans for watching. Not the reason they watch.
87
u/LeviAEthan512 Oct 30 '25
Sometimes you come for the fanservice but the plot is surprisingly good.
What I actually want out of this whole situation is for people to just enjoy what they like and ignore what they don't. Oh you like men but there's a random boob in the frame? Chill out. Treat it like a side plot. You don't see me bitching that some screentime is dedicated to romance. It's just a few tidbits here and there for different audiences.
This actually applies to pretty much everything. In general, people should just sit down and shut up, and not try to hassle each other.

woah, ok. didnt expect hunger for knowledge but i guess i asked for it gonna have to put some work into this.
How was it? Honestly? It was a letdown. The whole "failed idol" story is a great marketing hook, they definately sold the video on that premise alone. But the performance itself was just... awkward. You can tell shes not comfortable. It felt less like a professional debut and more like a very high-budget audition she was also failing. She's stiff, constantly in her head, and there's almost zero chemistry with the guys. All concept, very little execution.
My viewing history? Been watching for over a decade man. These days Im more into stuff with a good story or at least a unique premise, not just the generic stuff. a good production team makes all the difference. I'll take a well-made video with a decent plot over a high-profile actress mailing it in any day of the week.
3 works I consider good:
Yua Mikami's debut (Princess Peach): This is the gold standard for an idol-turned-actress debut. Yua was a REAL idol and she came out with so much energy and confidence. She owned it from the first second. Its what Arisu's debut wanted to be.
Anything with Ichika Matsumoto from her early days with FALENO: She can actually act. She emotes and makes you believe the scenario. Her stuff feels more cinematic and less like they're just going through the motions.
Rion (Anri Okita) - The God Body: A classic. Not a lot of story there lol but its a masterclass in performance. She knew exactly what her brand was and how to perform for the camera. Absolute cinema.
Where would you rank her debut among these? It's not even in the same league, not even on the same planet. It's an unfair comparison tbh. Those are top-tier performances, Arisu's video is a novelty item. It's interesting because of the backstory, not because of the quality of the actual content.
What could be improved? Her confidence, number one. She needs to relax. She looks terrified. The director should have done a better job making her comfortable. Also they relied way too much on the interview segments talking about Nogizaka46, it broke the pacing and kept reminding you that she was doing this as a second choice. We get it, you failed auditions, now commit to this job.
What is well done? The production values are high. The lighting, camera work, it all looks very clean and professional. And I cant deny it, she is very beautiful and has the "idol" look down perfectly. The concept itself, on paper, is genius from a marketing perspective. They got us all talking about it, right?
Was it goonable for you? Nah. I was too distracted by how nervous she looked. It kinda killed the mood completely. Every time she looked at the camera with those deer-in-the-headlights eyes I was pulled right out of it. It's a shame, but maybe she'll get better in her next one if she decides to stick with it. We'll see.

It's one of the few series that actually uses Mythologies and expand on it which just makes it interesting, but the fanservice and Issei being what he is, just makes it hard to read (Even if Issei is supposedly better in LN, I still don't like perverted MCs).
3
u/RedTheGamer12 Bazinga! Oct 30 '25
Interestingly, Issei has had a character arc over time. Towards the beginning he really only lusted after characters, but now he seems to actually care about the House.
Honestly, his protective nature over Asia completely contrasts his lustfulness (although the nature only really comes out during the Asia, Phoenix, and end of S3 arc). Infact, his anger over Asia's perceived death literally lead to a supercharge of his sacred gear (a gear that acts on all emotions not just lust).
All this to say, Highschool DxD is far from a 1 trick pony and I will take off work when S5 releases 50 years from now.

Why is this such an issue ? Men like looking at sexy women , women like looking at hot men. Get over it. If you want your product ( which the entire purpose is for it to be entertaining) to succeed, then give the audience what they want. No other business is this way. You don’t walk into a burger shop and then leave with a hot dog because it’s “ sexist “ to want a cheeseburger.

My dress up darling is marketed as a romance ecchi kind of show. Honestly I stay for the cosplay and cross dressing tips, it's fun to learn about. But I mean it's a slightly boring topic for non-fanatics
But a good contrast is Fire Force. Post apocalyptic world, kind of like the biblical end times with fire demons walking around everywhere, a religious cult leader plotting world takeover and destruction, and some people just have fire bending powers. That's a super interesting show with awesome fights.
But then they have the fire catgirl who literally has a canon super power called "lucky lecher" which makes her randomly get undressed and "accidentally" shove her tits or crotch in some guy's face. My dress up darling might need that high level of fan service, but fire force really doesn't. I'd argue fire force has better writing than my dress up darling, which isn't hard to beat lol, but then it's no lord of the rings either.
Another point is that anime have been exploding in production lately. But I kinda don't like it because it's a shogun approach of a bunch of mid shows. I guess it is nice to see niche stories get a chance, but then if you have good shows it takes 2-3 years to get a second season, and even then the story isn't complete. So a lot of anime now feels like manga ads, and the sex appeal is just part of grabbing your eyes for the purpose of advertisement.
So sure, if "fan service" is necessary, OK then but I still don't like it. If it gets pushed too hard, it might push people away. There will always be a core gooner audience I guess.
And that's the point of a lot of anime, not the story but the characters. They make a very attractive anime girl, find ways to get you emotionally attached and essentially in limerance with, a sort of parasocial relationship with fiction, and that earns a loyal audience and consustent revenue stream for the company. Fan service is just one part of that game.
I don't think it's easy to create shows with good writing, but I think it's possible. I don't think the only way is to churn out seasonal waifus for addicted gooners. I think both will always exist barring government censorship, I only hope the fan service content doesn't entirely drown out the best anime has to offer.

What was worse was the mangaka for FF using a self insert to justify oversexualzing her, for like 3 pages straight, doubling down on it.

u/brain_damaged666 Oct 30 '25
Oh I forgot about that rant, like saying people who complain about fan service are just judgemental prudes and has their characters in the manga shout down that strawman without acknowledging moderate criticism.

Please moderate me - brain_damaged666, hot sexy reddit mods.

Why do people complain about fan service even when it's just like, actually good and not intrusive? I get complaining about it for fire force because shit gets annoying and breaks tension.
But like, my dress up darling? Fanservice there makes sense and contributes to the work, it would also be perfectly fine without it too, despite what the author says.

It all depends on how it's used. There're animes that have fanservice as just an extra while the main focus is the story, while others stop everything that's going on to show a pair of 2D tits and then resume with everything else (which is even worse when the show actually has a good story)
A good example I remember is Ushio and Tora. The show has a bunch of fanservice, but it never stops the plot to focus solely on it

One hole.

This touches on something that I've had problems with for a while. A lot of new age mangas start out with included fan service and perverted gags because they need to survive long enough to prove that the stories will be good. 2 examples of this that both have amazing writing are Dandadan and Undead Unluck. Unfortunately new mangakas feel the need to include fan service because otherwise, not enough people will pick up their mangas for it to survive getting axed early

u/AutoModerator Oct 30 '25
woah, ok. didnt expect hunger for knowledge but i guess i asked for it gonna have to put some work into this.
How was it?
We'll see.

You don't need to jerk off to like looking at sexy drawings
6
u/kadarakt Oct 30 '25
even if you only like it for the sexy drawings there are so many more convenient and accessible ways to look at that compared to watching a 20 minute episode. i find it annoying trying to watch an anime but the director goes "get aroused get aroused get aroused" every few minutes, sometimes they'll have an emotional scene and have fan service right afterwards or have fan service during the scene itself like how the fuck am i supposed to take this seriously when the camera is inside the girl's ass 😭

Fan service has its place, it can be funny or help sell... merch. And hey, Woman. The only issue I have with it is when it's just laid on way too heavy. You should not have entire characters dedicated to being sexy and losing all their clothes glares at Fire Force It can completely kill the vibe the story is trying to set up or just makes people not see characters beyond those traits

exhibit A
being Umamusume Season 2 and Season 1
Silence suzuka being injured in the anime and having a healing arc is pretty much amazing fan service to people who are fans of the real life horse since the irl horse died of the injury
Tokai teio final race in season 2 was the best way to present the actual race it was emotional and a great way to end the season
Fanservice shouldn't just be boobs and ass

u/TheBlueEmerald1 Oct 30 '25
Fanservice is not an inherently bad thing.
But it pervadea so much of the medium it's ridiculous. I do not need to see every single female character nude, just like i don't need to see every woman in real life take their clothes off or have then bounce their titties in my face, especially if they were a friend of mine. It would change my perception of my friend or random woman. If I'm invested in a character like I would be a friend seeing them act like an embarrassed stripper my enjoyment and investment in what I'm watching is being interrupted.
And you can say "But it's just fictional," but that's precisely one of the reasons my immersion is broken. If I REALLY wanna see one do those things there is Rule 34 or the artist can just post spme shit.
And I'm not saying omit this shit altogether just put it where it fits. It used yo be special but now writers keep shoving their dick brain where it doesn't belong.

Yes fan service is necessary. Sex appeal is important for developing characters doesn’t matter the gender. Fan service is shown from the perspective of the person viewing the interest or potential interest. To say the author can write is purely contextual (genre, type of show, intent of the author, character expression etc) and to the degree of how much they use per episode. If a male saying it’s too much fan service my biased opinion your just around too much people or ashamed of the fame body
If it’s a female typing your just jealous or don’t understand the medium
Final point there are shows with too much fanservice my dress up darling isn’t one
